For future reference, if someone sinks your ship at a treasury or shrine and you have loot on a mermaid, they can’t access the mermaid so just lurk around until they leave to grab your stuff

Instead of always anchoring your ship just raise your sails. It's easier and if another ship pulls up, you can just lower them and get out of there quickly. It's much more efficient!

@@xoresgaminghub5412 You don’t raise the sails immediately after you reach your destination. You need to ease into it by raising it bit by bit before coming to a complete stop. Plus, every other sea of thieves channel suggests this.

I’ve been playing for a while but if u do restart at any point this tip can save you a few minutes maybe hours. So after doing the tutorial you need to go to all the barrels in the outpost so u will have supplies, after you need to travel to lots of small islands to find Skelly captain (a skeleton with clothes and a red name) and kill a few of them and them dig up the treasure form the skelly captain, then sell until you reach about 20500 coins after that you need to go to an emissary (I think gold hoarder, merchant and order of souls are easier then other emissaries) buy a promotion then buy a emissary flag, raise it then sell that specific loot to that emissary so you’ll beget extra money

Average new sea of thieves player always collects all ashen dragon set pieces first lmao also emissary flags are really good to use I recommend looking up a tutorial if you haven’t by now also PVE isn’t very forgiving especially before the season 9 update and i have also gotten stuck on random things too only way out is death and that’s not always an option also the time you sunk and you didn’t know how you either hit something on your way to the place you were going or you didn’t fix all your holes before leaving your ship

If you do 200 days, spend it going for the gold curse, it's exhausting to get requiring you to do like 9 tall tales 5 times, but in the end you literally become drip, pirates will respect you, trolls will fear you, the gold curse is the ultimate sign of dedication

a tip is not to anchor because it takes to long to raise it and someone could sink you and on sea forts you can find a key to the top room just for some extra loot.

One tip for this game is raise sails but don't anchor, that way if a ship rolls up on you while you are at a island you just drop sails and you chilling

just did that entire vault with the sharks and got all my loot. i went back to my ship and completely forgot i had one of those crying chests and it flooded and destroyed my ship loosing all my loot that was on it and when i got back to get my loot from the vault... boom gone. i instantly left the game

Give castaway chests to the castaway camp. Give chests to the gold hordes skulls to the order of souls. Give merchant box’s or crates to the merchant for more gold. Also if you get close to the fort they can’t shoot cannon balls at you
