Juriquilla is a neighbourhood located in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico. The neighbourhood is known for being one of the wealthiest zip codes in all of Mexico. Juriquilla has very fancy houses a very nice mall with luxurious department stores and restaurants. It's a very interesting area and I don't think many people know about this side of Mexico so I decided to make a video about it. Have you ever been to Juriquilla? let me know in the comments!

I discovered your channel this weekend. I was recently in Mexico for three weeks on holiday, i liked it very much. Greeting from Germany, saludos de Alemania. Nice work. I definitely come again, improving my spanish week by week. I really didn't know that Mexico has so much colonial architecture, i thought everything was destroyed by earthquakes, but it turns out, it's not. Plus Mexixo was very sparsely populated in this time, so i only expected a few cities at all.

Stop watching NETFLIX. That is not a good source of information about Mexico. On a more friendly note I am very happy that you had a good time in Mexico. If Germans are still looking for a place under the sun, Mexico is your home away from home.

@@mariohermoso100 This has nothing to do with Netflix. Did i mention it? No ! And yes I had a great time. I am not a classical brainwashed liberal or cuckservative who gets his knowlegde from Hollywood. Everything outside Europe is a concrete jungle. So this is why i am very positive about retain old architecture.

Your smooth voice and demeanor match the look and feel of the neighborhood. I'm looking for a quieter, cooler, not so touristy place for semi-retirement in Mexico, and Queretaro is checking a lot of boxes. I haven't seen any other KZbinrs in this neighborhood! Aside from the two beautiful towers I saw in the background, are there any other of high rises? Would be nice to see a video of some of them and the rental rates? Great content!
@IsraelPlata
@IsraelPlata 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you 😉 yes there are more high rises but they are not in just one place so they are all over Juriquilla. I don’t know about rental rates but in general Airbnbs and Hotels are 1/2 the price than the ones in Mexico City. In my case I prefer the historic center because you can walk to places. In Juriquilla you need a car and it’s not really a walkable area.

@@IsraelPlata Thank you. I order online, but I will check other areas out. I would love a grocery store in walking distance, since I do not drive anymore. I have lived part time in Acapulco, so living in Mexico is not new to me, but his is the first time without my USA base. I have been retired since 2012. Acapulco is my love, but I was in 6 earthquakes and 1 hurricane from 1962-2013.

Me too, I love grocery stores. You can see a lot about a community by visiting their grocery stores. HEB is awesome- I live in Phoenix, Arizona and never knew about HEB until I visited a Peruvian friend in Houston. He had an HEB Grocery close to his home and I loved shopping for groceries there. Excellent fresh products. Great produce and an attractive seafood and wine section! What more do you need, right? I'm loving your video!

@@Bavubuka if you live in a “gated community” in Mexico (fraccionamientos, like the ones shown here with the small lake) there’s usually a code of conduct, that regulates unwanted noises. You raise a complaint and if the offending party doesn’t comply they get fined. They have to comply or pay because that code of conduct is backed by law.

They always promote this state so that they can buy houses, but the people who live in Querétaro are very egoistic and they complain that others go to live there...a state that has nothing to give and is extremely boring. regular square, many bad streets and simple roads, all empty buildings and full of people from all sides... although Many are from the surrounding area, there is no need for them to be complaining... and maybe things were easier for them, but everywhere it is difficult... not even good salaries... only those who sold houses in other places to live there They have some money for a more or less new car... be thankful that the families invest in that town so apathetic and poorly planned.
