I'm glad that you haven't lost your humour and can still laugh in everyday life. I'm from Switzerland, you pay 200 francs per month and can go to any doctor (except dentist, they are very expensive, or you make additional insurance) The insurance is mandatory for everyone... Whether you work or not, if you don't work, the state pays …. we pay high taxes but,it is important to know that your country's leadership takes care of your health. Same in The Netherlands, where I’m from. Health insurance here is also mandatory. Unfortunately the costs are increasing each year, but they’re still much (much much) lower than in the US. It’s hard for me to understand why it’s difficult or almost made impossible for US citizens to get proper health insurance.😔

All kinds of insurance from health to car insurance. Why do we have to pay and meet deductibles when we’re already paying for coverage? It’s all about money and nothing else. Disgusting!!

I agree with you about health care coverage. I have been in healthcare for over 40 years but I realized years ago that health insurance was not really here to help people. It is used to make the people at the top richer. Our government has taken under table money to not regulate not only the health insurance companies, but the car insurance companies any big business that should be for the people and I understand they want to make a profit, but this is just ridiculous how people that own these companies are so money, hungry that they do not have any empathy for anyone.

I pay almost 2K for (myself and my husband) a month for BC/BS Athem and it goes up each year. Yes, its expensive but without it and something serious happens it could wipe out your entire savings. I hope you find something.
