Great video! So much niche minecraft things happened to you in the video that made me feel like am absolite nerd for knowing. The chicken despawned because it didn't count as a passive mob because it spawned with a baby zombie. (Found this out in skyblock) and the zombies showed up in the nether because zombie types have a low chance to call in "back up" and spawn zombies. Thays actually how a lot of drowned farms run

FYI: If a chicken spawns in as a jokey (like what happened in the first few days) it cannot be bred and doesn't lay eggs. The only logical thing to do is kill it because it will despawn otherwise.

Chicken that spawn with baby zombie is counted as hostile entitiy. So it will 100% despawn except you put it on boat or nametag it.
