I deleted the grid heater in my 6.7 Cummins also Greg. I live up in the land of igloos and maple syrup, to combat my cold weather starting problem, I acquired a BD diesel intake horn that has a grid heater plug that you can wire into it. Haven’t had any problems starting in the winter.

i like this, i got a pusher intake but can't always plug my truck in so kept the heater. i see you can jut buy the heater element separate, i wonder if drill and tapping my pusher would be an option

grid heater isn't needed until -35C. off course will smoke a little and make some noises... still will start... If you plug it or u can heat the coolant with some help ( Espar) don't need it at all.... from Canada

if you’re going to install the throttle sensitivity booster make sure to use connection grease on every plug connector because I had a fault code from this product and I believe it was because I installed it without the grease it’s kind of scary to lose your pedal while driving I would practice unhooking it and connecting it back the way it was after it’s installed just in case if you need to do it on the highway real quick

I run the pedal commander in my 16 powerstroke it makes an amazing difference, outside of tuning its the best money I have spent and it took 5 minutes to install. Plus I have about 20 different levels of adjustment.

You really don’t need a grid heater on modern trucks. My f450 service truck fires up in -35c unplugged and cranking it as soon as I get in lol. The old dodge doesn’t like starting in that weather even plugged in. I think all the dodge grid heater does is suck a bunch of juice from the battery before startup lol

My manager has a 04 and he took the front axles out one day because the thought taking the front axles out would make the front pumpkin stop leaking. Long story short I just threw a new axle in for him because both of the front wheel bearings failed.

GregA! I don't know if you know it, but anytime you are working on Cummins high pressure common rail fuel system always start by loosening the fuel supply line from the cp3 to the rail, its the nut on the rail. Reason being is that the supply fitting in the rail had a slot machined into it to disperse the high pressure fuel away from your hands. Once the pressure in the rail is drained, it's safe to work on. I am just telling you because I would like you to tell everyone on your video. Search what high pressure fuel can do to someone's hand. Please warn everyone!

I drive a tuned 6.4 and my mom has a 6.7 powerstroke and the 6.7 FUCKING HAS NO DRIVABILITY just feels like you have to be floored or you just Cruze like the turbo isn’t spooling I’m 99% sure it has to do with the low boost fueling is set so clean
