Never gets old but I was kinda disappointed with the way he played the A-10. It’s a close air support plane and he kept it as far away from the battle field as possible through out the matches. He really let down the A-10 close quarters ability’s today.

@@blacktrident5312 The whole reason why he's flying it so far out and carefully is because in modern air combat you really have no use for a gun that needs to to fly fast in a straight line to do arguably minimal damage to anything armored. You're a huge target, and slow to boot, and the platform the gun is fired from is anything but stable. In the imaginative battlefield it's a fun and amazing plane, but in real life the big BRRRRT is overrated and largely useless as anything but a suppressing weapon on unarmored positions that are not defended by any AA. With the proliferation of Manpads and very capable, mobile batteries, it is difficult to design an attack plane that can loiter near a battlefield and provide CAS on demand. In most cases there's simply too much shooting back at you to be worth it. Yes the pilot is in an armored tub but it's not a magic barrier. Don't quote me on this but I believe the A-10 has more friendly fire kills than actual confirmed enemy units.

If you carry any shells that have an explosive filler IE: any round that is not APFSDS, then the blowout panels will not work. I don't know if that's historically accurate or not, but then again we are dealing with the mighty snail here.

I Find that, at least on the A4N anyway, the Mavericks dont "target lock" until about 5km from the target. you can target a spot at any range but tracking is a different story

I'd be very interested in seeing Phly go full tryhard for a couple of videos. You know, not just having 1 or 2 vehicles but a full lineup of tanks and aircraft that he loves to play and plays well with, so that he has the right tools for any situation and a lot of respawns. Just go for as many kills as possible. Really curious for the matches he could pull of when going serious and not just playing for fun. Yeah, I don't have many games like what we just saw (I'm not that good of a player). As an American main I mostly just spawn and die within about 2 minutes, spawn again and I'm already spawncamped so that's the end of the match. This also means I can win or lose and get up to 3 or so kills if I'm lucky and still come out -3k in SL for the match. Real kewl Gaijin. Put this pair up against the KA-50 with the T-80/72/90 group that has ERA that stops pretty much anything or the leopard 2-anything is just a kick in the junk in most matches.
