great option for those that don't have much to invest, SOC radios have really opened HAM, GMRS to so many. The value of our dollar "historically" is the fact we do business with anyone. Japanese brands are between 200-$500 dollars for a handheld, while a good investment to some, for most seems ridiculous.

Y'know, something that'll actually put out clean emissions and likely be correctly type-certified, won't have massive front-end overload or sound like utter rubbish to who is unfortunately on the receiving end of that ragchew. Judging from all of your videos, you care not about the quality of the radio nor the fundamentals of radio. Plus, it looks like you're almost certainly only GMRS licensed which tells me a lot more.

These are HAM radios, Repeater capable, They can even pull frequencies and then add to memory which is a nice trick.
