Nice one stu, great video. Maybe you should try setting up a go pro on time lapse while your working then you will have some footage of the build in progress that u could either put some music over or even a wee bit of commentary of what your doing. I do quite often get a time lapse going, my problem with this build was the very short amount of time I had to build it, didn’t allow me time for anything else. When I’m back from my holiday we got an epic build coming and I got lots more time to get back on it 👊🏻

Great unit Stu, definitely needed Charlie's touch in the 'bathroom' 🤣 As well as doing vans, have you considered doing upgrades to motorhome interiors? For example, the kitchen in ours doesn't have much worktop and whilst I have ideas, I have a lot less skills than you 😭

Morning Ian, thank you. I have been playing around with coloured screws for best effect. I put black screws in the door cards which had black carpet in them and did initially try on the b pillar but couldn’t use them on the plastic trim so reverted back to the cups and screws 👍🏻

@@VanologyConversions I saw a good tip when doing mine, you cut a cross in the carpet where the screw is so you can peel it back slightly, put a screw in and then stick the carpet back over the top. Worth a go if you haven’t tried that before 😎👍🏻

hi Stu, great vids really helpful to those of us no so skilled but having a go. Would you mind sharing what size screw you use for the ceiling ply to the battens, did you just go to the battens or further into the metal that the battens are screwed to, thank you and all the best for the new business
