I simply don't get what you guys see in Bridgman's drawings. They are hideous, primitive, and amateurish. You, Eric, - and Jeff are so insanely great, accomplished artists - way better than Bridgman, so why waste your time on such an inferiour textbook / teaching material as Bridgman's? There are numerous of much better books out there on how to draw anatomy. Hope you don't mind I say that.

The drawings in Bridgman's book are poor scans that his students did of stuff he did with a long charcoal stick on a classboard. There's a reason every great artist loves the way Bridgman draws interlocking forms and powerful dynamic figures, sadly some ppl like yourself will always be too low IQ to get it.
