The 04-05 TSX 2.4L only made around 192-195 hp by the old hp rating standard. The 06-08 TSX updated the power rating system and made engine improvements in the 2.4L to make 205 hp. The 06-08 had a lot of performance and tech improvements to make it the versions to look for first. I wonder if the head unit was replaced at sometime? I "think" the aux connection in the arm rest console and XM radio wasn't added until the 2005 TSX.

It definitely aged well, for a 2004 it still looks modern This makes for a good “first car” for someone that wants something nice and sporty enough

@@GodGear for sure! They are a blast and nail all the practical things on the checklist. As for the stick, it's like learning to walk. A little tricky at the start, but once you get it dialed, you won't want to drive an auto anymore.

@@xxxxyyyxxxx584 Word! Multiple people have told me that. Once you learn how to drive a stick your not going to want to go back to Automatic. Also was I learn I can review a larger variety of cars for you all.

The 2004 and I believe the 2005 models you have to get a aux adapter that you plug into your radio to use the aux feature in the car.

Your absolutely right! I didn't know this . Thank you 🙏🏼 I'll keep this in mind if I ever own a 04 or 05 Tsx? They still look good to me after all these years! Also thank you for watching 🙏🏼

@@GodGear No problem. When I got my tsx I, was trying to figure out how I’ll integrate Bluetooth. After three FM transmitters I, said enough is enough and I did some deeper research on how I can get Bluetooth and I came across an adapter. I’ll see if I can link you the adapter I got for my car on Amazon.
@topherlambert6 ай бұрын
@@GodGear The one I got 2 years ago came with a aux adapter and a phone charger. The newer ones they make now looks like it only comes with a aux adapter and a USB plug which I, assume you can plug your own phone charger in the usb plug and carry on as normal. Hope this helps.

I was looking at one the other day and I’m seriously considering buying it but it has 198k miles, do you think it’s still worth it?
@GodGear Жыл бұрын
This is a great question. I would say go for it if , the pervious owner took really good care of it . Preferably not to many owners. I'm sure you will do this . Check the history/ maintenance history. I also did a quick check on a tsx form . It seems like the CV axle tends to go bad around that mileage and be sure the transmission was kept up. I hope this helps you out 🙏🏼 Also thank you for your time.

you think this is a great first car for a teenager? i found one in great condition with 150,000 mileage for $3,900
@GodGear Жыл бұрын
I think its a good first car. These cars are known to be modified and raced. Be sure all recalls have been taken care of, and look at the vehicle's history throughly. Drive safe out there 🙏
