I originally had recorded this elevator sometime ago. Let's just say my beard and hair was mostly dark brown with a few slivers of grey hair; the McGregor Square had yet to be built, and I was working at Walmart. My employment at Wally World ended in late 2012. The original video for this elevator has long since been lost and so today, September 4 of 2024, I figured to revisit the building were this elevator resides.
Recording this elevator was almost a disaster as the initial ride was not being recorded, unbeknownst to me. I was just about to leave when I noticed that there was not counter displaying on my screen. I would have been majorly P.O'd if I had gotten home and found that there was no video when I went to transfer it to my computer for editing. Now the good thing that came out of this, was that I actually went to the ninth floor, whereas for the first ride, I had pressed floor 7 not noticing the buttons for the higher floor, thus affording a better view of the baseball field and I also did a shaft view from the lower-level. I had not thought to get this on the first ride. What I didn't get, was my entrance into the building, the elevator lobby and my pressing the call button. I didn't care to try to record this as there were warnings of all activities being monitored by video cameras. I wanted to get the ADA elevator but I didn't see it on the way out the side door and I so I wrote it off. I did get a shot of the building after my visit, however.
