I never knew how much I wanted to watch a newcomer play Ultrakill until seeing Failboat go from walking around with just pistol shots and punching to jumping and air-dashing around mid-fight. And, of course, going from V2 being unbeatable to a piece of cake once you learn to parry its shots.

Or once you have the full arsenal unlocked cause you get more combos to do and an easier and faster way to get blood up close and personal with the red variant of the shotgun which has a LITERAL CHAINSAW ATTACHED used with the alt fire button longer you hold it down the further it flies and can keep flying by parying the chainsaw when it returns to.the shotgun of just get cloase and let it deal damge that way

I absolutely love this game. It’s one of my favorites of all times and you just gets better the more you play but some tips you don’t just have to lay them to get blood, you just have to be close to them you’re attacking. Also, when you get the red shotgun attachment, the chainsaw one you can rev it up and not let go and it still does damage. And because you’re so close to your enemies, It doesn’t let you take damage.

A few beginner tips. Shotguns can parry. To be more specific, point blank shotgun blasts can melee parry. Lots of weapons have interactions with each other, for a simple one you can instantly charge the overheat nailgun if you switch to it while firing a different nailgun. If you hit the marksman coin as it flashes (this is a two frame window but you just need to teach your muscle memory) your shot will split in two and hit two opponents. This is very helpful for the flamethrower dudes, as they like to come in pairs.

The reason you can parry your own bullets(AKA projectile boosting), is because you can parry most projectiles, and it was a bug of where you could parry your own bullets, and Hakita was like: "Haha, thats kinda funny, its cannon now lol"
