I'm glad you and Hans enjoyed my visit to Planet Desert. It felt like I was in Candyland with all the beautiful and very tempting cacti and succulents. They had so many other plants that I was not familiar with. lol! I still have so much to learn but the trip was an eye opener to me. Yup, that glue trick with Euphorbia seed pods is certainly new to me! Thank you Lyn and Hans for your support always. CHEERS! 😊🌵☕

This couple’s/family’s kindness and an honest-to-goodness humility just exuded during the whole interview. They are simply inspirational - from their hard work and love for these plants. I wish them all the best and their business more success and love from customers. You can never please all customers but their business wouldn’t have grown to this proportion if their customers were not satisfied. Thank you for this tour, Ana. Truly enjoyed this! ❤️🌸🌼🌺🌵❤️

Woo hoo! Awesome!!! I was waiting for this!! Hahaha! I'm glad my water hasn't affected my plants. I'll have to say , our water is very hard because it comes from the ground out of limestone aquifers. Oh the challenges we face in our love for these plants!! Yes he is right!! A little glue on Euphorbia capsules can keep your seed if applied at the right time!!! Love the tour!!! Great place!!! How awesome to see this place!!! Thanks Ana for taking us all along!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks,out to Las Vegas, have a great evening!!! Peace,Love,Plants!!!!✌💖🌵🌸🌿🌷🌳💐🌲🌹🌴🌻

its really awesome!! the tour is so worthwhile, learn many things from him. never could imagine i can use vinegar, even batteries (did i hear it right??) in watering cacti. the only water i used to water my cacti is rainwater coz its always raining here in the philippines.
@CactusCaffeine3 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! You are very lucky to get rain water. That is the best water that you can give plants. The acidity of rainwater is perfect and it is also has nutrients. Here in some parts of the US, especially where I live (Las Vegas) it only rains maybe 4-5 days in a year! Maraming salamat po at pinanood niyo itong video ko. 😊

You are lucky to get enough rain in summer. Water quality is always my problem here in the desert as we only get rain maybe 5 times in a year! 😕 But I'm glad you found the vinegar tip useful. It's spring! How's your garden doing? 😀

@@CactusCaffeine my garden is doing great. I just took a bunch of more basic succulents that I had in the house and planted them out there for the year. I posted an update to my new channel. I’ve ordered cacti from them & they’ve struggled . I’m wondering now if it has to do with the acidic water they water the plants with then I get them using outdoor tap water & it weakens, struggles then die. I have no luck. I may try one more time. Thanks for the info. I learned something new now.

Ana, what PH meter to you use? Do you have to calibrate it every time you use it? My tap water is very hard and I let it sit for at least 24 hours before I feed it to my cactus. However I need to know if what I'm doing is enough. Thanks for introducing Planet Desert. My most healthy cacti are from them.

How can it be that pH is so important but the type of fertiliser is not? Fertilizers can vary by amount of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus, etc. IMHO it is important. Succulents don't like much of nitrogen, but like phosphorus.
