I get a few birds eat my cactus fruits but not too many. I think my shade cloths deter most of them. Not to mention I have dogs that love to chase them away. 😁

Weather here is unpredictable. It was cool but now we are back to triple digit temperatures again. Summer doesn’t want to leave. Lol!

Really lovely blooms on your Mammillarias and Thelocactus, Ana! Great to have blooms still at the tail end of the summer season and good to hear that temperatures are slowly, finally coming down your end! Always crazy for me to think that those maximum temperatures I get inside the greenhouse on my (sunny) summer days are the "normal" temps that you have outside for such a long time during your summers! That's indeed quite a challenge, and your cacti are all still looking very good and pretty healthy considering that! Sending you some cooler air across from Bavaria, Germany to Las Vegas! Just a heads up. Star Nursery has cereus forbesii spiralis for $17. 5 left at blue diamond. 9 left on south eastern. Was shocked that they had them.

These are the most beautiful cacti I've ever seen!! Not even the sellers here have cacti as nice as yours. Two of mine were blooming nicely, but since they're indoor and got their sunlight through window, I got them a round table to move them out on the balcony and one ended up losing all the buds and died, the other one (not the flowery type) also died and turned into a dried plant, I'm in Indonesia which is a tropical country and live nearby the beach, it's probably too hot for some of them so they got dehydrated and died, but some of them actually liked being on the balcony. I'm honestly so confused, how to make the buds stop falling before even blooming 😥

Hi from south Texas, not as hot here as well. mid 90s and at night low 70s . not seeing blooms on my plants but pepper plants are coming back to life. great video.

WOW absolutely BEAUTIFUL blooms Ana :-D and its so good to see these beautiful blooms still on your cacti in late Summer, and WOW with all the stunning setispinus blooms, so sorry you lost a Rebutia, most of my cacti are coming to the end of their blooming now, the summer here in Ireland has been the wettest ever but we are getting a bit of an Indian summer now and nice and sunny at last, thanks so much for sharing the awesome update with us Ana, and sending you lots of love and happiness and CAFFEINE and PLANT POWER to Las Vegas from Hans and me for a blooming lovely Tuesday XXXX <3
