I love watching this whole process. Thank you for posting your videos. Where did you purchase your wooden binding press?

Love how your whole creative process is like a ritual, from tearing the paper to applying the glue! Thank you for sharing a close up of how you sew the signatures. So inspiring and soothing.

In these times of audio books and all-too-cheaply made, perfect-bound blank journals that don't always last a long time, you are truly turning bookbinding back into the art form I feel it is meant to be. I would love to try my hand at it, just because I want to see old traditions revived again. I like my tablet, phone and laptop. But when it comes to sitting and relaxing with just reading or journaling (especially the junk journaling scrapbooking thing), give me physical books, pens, paper, etc. Give me the scent and sound of a physical book that I can hold, and feel the energy of someone who hand-stitched and glued everything so carefully -- and if the cover is leather, let there be an amazing, leather-tooled image or design. 🥰🥰

The number of times I've watched this, just the folding and tearing part, is borderline ridiculous 😂 but it honestly relaxes me like nothing else and helps me get to sleep!

What a nice Christmas surprise! I use a small triangle to mark the hole positions along the spine. I think its a much easier to make sure the lines are straight. Thanks for posting

What is that candle carousel thingy?? Is that something you can get a reuse on different candles? It reminds me of the german Christmas decoration things that are powered by the heat of the fire!
