5 minutes into this video, and I'm in love with the poetry of your story, I don't speak English and I'm using the translator, but I wanted to say that I captured the magic of your journey, the magic of those who free themselves for some moment in their lives and fly to the beautiful, surprising, and unknown abyss of the adventure of traveling by bike or on foot or in another vehicle that provides you with peace, isolation, knowledge of your own inner being. And especially you did it in this iconic place. Congratulations and thank you very much for providing us with this experience, we are together with you!

I commented on your reddit post as well - but just wanted to say that I loved seeing this. Was fun to relive the experience! @@theGEOcycle I sincerely appreciate you watching! I will never forget that night of midge torment lol. I was so naive when people were warning me about them. Yes Scottish gravel is very different from the gravel I’m used to, definitely rougher at times, but still rideable!

Great video. Very inspiring despite the challenges. I’m thinking of doing this next year with a gravel bike. Were there any parts that you thought a mountain bike was totally necessary? Also what camera are you using to talk into? Everything is so sharp and clear! Impressive visuals.
@dlambbikepackingАй бұрын
Thanks Justin, sincerely appreciate you watching. My mountain bike was nice in the boggy sections but definitely not necessary. It was just the only bike I had. You can for sure do it with a gravel bike and most people do. My main camera is a Sony A7IV with a 28-70mm f2.8 lens. I use an Sennheiser shotgun mic to to capture sound effects and a DJI wireless mic to talk into.
