I graduated from CMU 23 years ago and still remember the fun I had during these years. Thanks for sharing the videos.

Thank you for not having loud music and jerky camera.

You are very welcome! Although I guess there is still some camera shake in the video

Thanks for the video. I know I don’t know you from Adam, but your dad would be proud. Anyone who is willing to take the time and energy to make a video that shows people a place where they can grow and develop as a human being is doing a good thing.

Im trying to enroll here. Do they really deal with computer forensics and crime networking?

Just discovered your channel. Your videos are nice . . . a cheap tripod or monopod would instantly double the quality, though.

Thank you for watching and commenting! I agree that a tripod would significantly enhance the quality of my videos. I choose not to use a tripod for a couple reasons. First, my videos are usually made up of over 100 short clips, and setting up a tripod for each clip would add a lot of time to the filming process. Second, I like being able to carry all of my filming equipment in my pockets, and the less I need to carry around, the more convenient it is for me. And finally, I try to be as inconspicuous as possible when filming. This does produce some shakiness, but it's a tradeoff I'm willing to take. Perhaps I'll change my mind in the future though!

I hear you. In that case, you might want to try a monopod, which would be a lot more convenient and less conspicuous than a tripod. Even though there may be the occasional interior shot you feel less comfortable shooting, the tradeoff for the increase in production value might make it worth it. Failing that, you could add a little stabilization in post if you use Premiere or Final Cut. Apart from the camera shake, your videos are great.

Hmm, the monopod idea is intriguing. How worse a job does it do compared to a tripod at reducing camera shake, if there's a difference? I appreciate the suggestion!

It should help reduce camera shake a lot. I would check out the video I've linked here. Bear in mind, the particular monopod mentioned is kind of pricy, but there are much cheaper options available on Amazon. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jprGgnZ8h798pdE
