The unique part about Gary is how intense he gets with his messages, and that's probably what we need in this day and age of sexualised culture and comfortable mediocrity, where you can go do your job the entire day, come back, watch TV, sleep and repeat. This intensity is required to cut through the bullshit. Thanks for the message

My work schedule is so grinding, that it's hard to accomplish anything at home when I'm off. My job builds up so much fatigue, I have head and chest pains. I need to get out from under the high mortgage I pay, plus find a less time and energy consuming job. Then I know I will consistently pursue my goals. If not, I have what I deserve.

***** That will be the right way to do it. The problem with motivational clips is that people (myslef included) get addicted to it. It gives you a dopamine rush, and only by watching the video you start thinking that you have accomplished something, while the truth is all you did is watch a video and not taken any action...

Gary!!! So many people in my Mastermind group share things they are reading. I was feeling so guilty because I'm never reading. I'm never quoting from books like they do. I work nonstop. I have a full time job and created a whole new business on the side while working full time at the university. (And now that "side" business is making me more money than my "real" job.) You made me finally see it's OK not to be doing all that reading. I wasn't reading because I was DOING!! Thank you for helping me realize this (and you inspire me to want to do MORE)! Thank you!

Wow this is the most important message you've ever made, at least for me it is. I have spent literally years (almost 5) working through idea after idea, book after book, speech after speech. I spent 7 years in business and graduate school, only to end up at a job I could've had with no college education. I keep waiting for the right opportunity or business idea to pursue, but have always been unsure of the right thing or direction. I recently began writing a book that I should complete in the next couple months, and have begin recording music I've written over the years to send to record labels for artists to pickup. Still unsure about what business direction I will take, but excited to actually start putting the years or knowledge I've accumulated to good use. Thanks Gary, from one of your biggest fans and morose, someone who appreciates all you do!

@@ScreamGeronimo I like your tip, and I'll keep it in mind :). Thank you! I'm reading a book titled "Psycho-Cybernetics" by M. Maltz, and in one passage, he says:...study the situation thoroughly, go over in your imagination the various courses of action possible to you and the consequences which can and may follow from each course. Pick out the course which gives you the most promise- and go ahead. if we wait until we are absolutely certain and sure before we act, we will never do anything. Any time you act you can be wrong. any decision you make can turn out to be the wrong one. but we must not let this deter us from going after our goal.....He concludes: Faith is not believing something despite the evidence. It is the COURAGE to do something regardless of the consequences.

That being said. Before you "do" you've gotta be a student for some time. The key is not being trapped as a student. Once you have some fundamental knowledge of your field, then you can start offering value. No point putting something 'shit "out, it's gotta be at least "alright". From there you can up your game by learning from the real world experiences.
@markmunyui8 жыл бұрын
I like this
@dunnyt16808 жыл бұрын
I disagree to an extent. Why not put shit out? I'll bet you learn 100x more by putting out shit and then improving rather than keep studying to avoid putting out shit, 9/10 times you'll end up doing nothing in the end. Don't be scared of failing or doing poorly man, just test and learn and you will improve.
@markmunyui8 жыл бұрын
DunnYT I feel like in a way, studying then taking action will help you recognize mistakes faster and in turn you'll be able to not only make a change, but make the RIGHT change because you have various ideas/techniques from your research and observation..
@dunnyt16808 жыл бұрын
+mark Yeah that's true for some although it is a very tricky area, it's so easy to keep making excuses to why you need to study more. Sometimes you just need to take the leap and just try. You'll probably fail at first, but it will be so valuable.
