7:24 not only what you said why you didn't tune.. it is VERY important that the driver only has to worry about driving and driving only. Regardless if it is 10 sec at a time or 500 miles in a circle or 24 hrs etc. Best case scenario the driver just needs to be in his or her zone!

One thing I will say is I do the same thing .. I own a shop I tune a lot of vehicles and I tune my own but at the level of my race program I also have people who help in the tuning side .. it’s just to much sometimes and i always second guess myself .. I been watching you guys for years

Solid and consistant passes brotha, hell of a final finishing just a tenth behind on a hurt/detonating motor. Situations like that suck, but lesson learned and you'll never make that mistake again. Sounds like the new tuner for 2024 season will get you into the 195+mph zone and help set some new pb's!

Wow 399 deg IAT's !! I would imagine at those temps pre-ignition could be occurring, so it wouldn't even matter what your ignition timing is since it's igniting before the ignition event. Time for an intercooler maybe?

@RaceProvenMotorsports Holley supports 1 wire and 2 wire knock sensors. 2 wire units are more accurate. In the ignition ICF, the sensitivity is adjustable, the rate of ignition retard is adjustable, the rate of ignition return is adjustable. I use them on my high horsepower Drag and Drive engine, 572 CID, ProCharged iron block with a 1500+ hp progressive nitrous system. I am aware that Holley assembles their stuff with foreign parts.
