Bro I just ordered a Fuji X100vi for a similar reason. Not gonna make a photo book, but I wanted to get out and start practicing photography in a way that was simple and fun! Something about the aesthetics of these cameras makes the whole process a lot more enjoyable. Excited to see what you shoot with it!!
