- 1st mistake trusting TA data. - 2nd mistake circulating TA Cali propaganda list. The truth is TV partner want programs with fanbase will watch (good& bad yrs), fill stadiums, and sell merchandise. Thats means these programs are in trouble: * Stanford, Cal, Indiana, NWern, Illinois, Rughers, Vandi, Kentucky, WF, SMU, GT, Cus, Duke. Lose there seat to programs such as: * BYU, CIncy, UCF, OSU, BOISE St. Its not about academics & waterpolo it about CFB business model and making money, perod.

UCLA is now #18 in The B1G Conference behind #17 Rutgers. Funny YOUR EMOTIONS didn't include UCLA in your list of "bottom dwellers."??! And USC ranks at #11!!! Behind Minnesota and ahead of Maryland!!! Stanford is the #33 Nationally Ranked TV Viewership....which is 10 spots ahead of #43 BYU....and the others you listed as "replacements" are so low on the list they belong on a streaming-only platform.....Boise is even way lower than SMU at #70! Are we ranking Basketball, Baseball, etc? If so, some SEC, and Big Ten schools are ranked too high.

There are college programs on the rise now that would be left out if the college football system locked them out. Schools like SJSU, SDSU, Fresno St, probably Boise gets left out, then there's Tulane, SMU, Coastal Carolina, Memphis, USF, UTSA, Temple, UAB, UNT, Troy, James Madison, NM St, NM, UNLV, Toldeo, Marshall, ECU, Appalachian State, Charlotte, UConn, UMass, ... etc. These are all potential rising stars. Many are in major metropolitan areas with large student bodies (UNT has 45,000 students, for example; Liberty has 90,000 students).

Their fans are basically Steelers fans from the burgh and DON'T know how to act!! sPitt was offered to continue the series but ONLY 2-for-1. Because Penn State played most of the series in Pittsburgh....and sPitt OVERCHARGED for the Penn State game because they knew predominantly Penn State fans would pay the prices for tickets. It was cheaper to buy a sPitt season ticket than just that single game. So, Penn Staters did, then sold the others online for $1, or donated them to local high schools, or burnt the other game tickets in the parking lots as sPitt fans walked by.🤣🤣🤣 And Virginia Tech fans say the same thing about playing WVU! Even WVU fans dominate the Heinz Field when they play sPitt! sPitt is a "city school". With NO place to even put a stadium on its campus. Just like Temple. Colleges must have an ON-Campus stadium to survive. THAT is the reality in the coming years. After 48-14, it's been ALL DOWNHILL for sPitt!

If you’re going to do a College Football Super League, I recommend you either have a 68-team league or even an 80-team league. Then…please bear with me…you could do a “Civil War” style league with 2 conferences. 40 teams in each conference, and 5 divisions with 8 teams in each division. P.S. I’m a big U.S. History buff. The problem is the ranking has too many factors. There is only one factor that matters the total disposable income of the university fan base. That is what advertisers are looking for and that is what ESPN and Fox will provide for the highest price they can obtain. The California schools are high because while they don’t have as many fans they are far more affluent than most schools fans giving them higher total disposal incomes.

Terrible list! In no universe should West Virginia be listed below any of the following...!!!! Maryland, Arkansas, Illinois, Arizona St, TCU, Indiana, Purdue, Duke, Colorado, NC State, Virginia, Northwestern, Rutgers NO WAY! Move WVU up to a bare minimum of 38. And then there are anouther 10-15 schools that WVU has a strong case against. That would put ius clsoer to top 30. Which would be way more accurate.

If a Super League was to form like the NFL it would have to be a 64 team to make divisions. 68 wouldn’t work. That’s why I think the B1G and SEC will go to 20 teams and the Big XII 24. If limited in number, at all, other than current FBS status, then the number ought to be at least 96 - determined by each Super Conference (of 3) having 32 members in their league, and even that leaves out at least 32 additional schools who should be a part of it all. (3 super conferences assumes a merger of Big12r+ACCr+Pac2.) I like college football because its college football and I hate the NFL. I don’t want to watch a 4th tier semi professional league. I want to watch college ball without the kneeling spoiled overpaid ungrateful A holes of the NFL. If you are going to do a semi pro league, then do 32, but leave my colleges and teams out please: LSU, SMU, Arkansas. Id like those colleges to remain college sports teams, not some bastardized semi pro league. And BTW, Ive been in Management (and ownership) of a third tier pro BB league team - they don’t make very much money, ownership wise or player wise. (Its not going to work.)

All but FSU, Clemson and UNC are happy staying in the ACC. Perhaps the remaining schools think that with those three schools gone, they will have legitimate shots at being ACC football champions and get into the playoffs. That’s plausible but only a short term gain for them. With the smaller CFP payout and smaller TV money it’s a diminishing financial situation for the remaining ACC faithful. The ACC will face a greater likelihood to lose ESPN’s deal then will face the same predicament the PAC10 faced, no TV deal. Sucks to be a member of the ACC.

With UNC openly saying they are connected to NC State, I believe that holds them back in the ACC. ESPN, even if they don’t exercise the option, (Which I expect them to exercise it) would engage parters Apple, CW, ESPN (would still own ACC Network just have a smaller percentage), would still have a media deal as it is now or a little more. PAC 12 and ACC situations are completely different and not even remotely the same. Regardless a new Super League is strongly being discussed as well. ACC will survive the more this goes on.

None of this stuff us going to happen. It's going to be just like it has always been. Just with more teams in fewer conferences. PAC is DEAD. MWC/AAC/C-USA - 1 of those is Next. Their best teams will get sucked into the Big 12 as backfill when the remaining Value is sucked out of the Big 12 in the next 5 years. B1G will not go without a piece of the Texas Market ACC will steal away the rest of the Meat on the Big 12's Bones. Big 12 will survive as the best G5. Mid 12.

The reason why people like Tony Altimore isn’t a professional media consultant is that he doesn’t correctly weigh the true value of what college sports tv revenues produce. The reason why the NCAA Basketball Tournament dwarfs the CFP Playoffs in revenue is class of fan. Fans from schools like Kansas, Duke, North Carolina go on to hold positions in society that are much higher class than your average college football fan. There’s a reason why during college basketball games you see adds for Northwestern Mutual, Mercedes Benz and Capitol One. College Football games advertise Cheese-it’s, Dr Pepper, and Chuck-Cheese. College Basketball fans make millions upon millions of dollars more professionally than college football fans. College Basketball fans are better people and are valued much more than football fans. The proof is everywhere. The PAC 12 had great football and terrible basketball teams. That’s why the conference failed.
