yes agree, reality is tamils live peacefully in sinhalese cities (nearly 800 000-1 million tamils) but sinhalese cant live peacefully in tamil cities I ve seen thousands of kovils in sinhalese areas , but if sinhalese built a temple in tamil area , people come to protest with boards, but always compassion goes to tmils , this world is weird

@@skipper2594 Exactly. In fact Buddhism is not just belongs to Sinhalese. Basically Hinduism and Buddhism based on the same philosophy. Hindu Tamils could also go to Buddhist worship places participate in their activities mainly could do meditation, nothing is wrong with it. But unfortunately these Tamil Politicians and other Tamil extremists will not let the people to live in peace. In fact the reason they create problems is to seek asylum in western countries, how they did in the past easily claim refugee status in western countries.

@@usharetnaganthan302 almost 99.9% sinhalese worship hindu gods ,almost every sri lankan buddhist temple has a seperate area for buddhists , actually sinhalese dont know much about hindu stuff, but worship murugan ,shiva ,kali ganesh ,pattini ,lakshmi ,sarasvati at home and temples thinking them as the protectors of buddhism, specially 30%-40% main hindu tamil kovils revenue come from sinhalese buddhists , they go to worship them annually ,

@@skipper2594 Yes, it's true. I was born and spent my early childhood in Badulla, until I was seven. Sundays we used to go to a pansalla which was close to our house. My mother used to have Pirith and Dhana ceremony at our place. Also there was a Pathini Dhevalaya which we used to go and do pongal ( making sweet milk rice).

In Sri Lanka you will get a fine for not wearing helmet. Also generally ppl who can afford take extra measures and wear gloves and bike jackets as well. Safety is greater than "looking funny".
