Ned technically nothing in the industry is “new” but to make visuals that are unlike any other visuals that we’ve been seeing in hip hop more recently, makes it innovative. “Innovative” can mean advanced, or to feature new methods. I think that is what Rocky’s visuals have been lately - better than everyone else’s that we’ve seen recently (along with Kendrick). I think he’s on his own wave. But I agree with the sentiment that people throw around the word “innovative” way too loosely. But I believe the usage in my original comment is still appropriate.

You could argue about who's more lyrical than him, but you can't seriously tell me that you can find someone who can ride those beats like he can. If I can listen to and enjoy Snoop Dogg (who is a similar artist when it comes to his subject matter), I don't see the issue with what Rocky is doing. Also, why did you feel the need to insult me?
