Yes that has been evident in all of Charo's post birth videos, but it is even more pronounced in this one today. It would be good to know that all the appropriate cardiac, and other tests, were performed, back when this was filmed (? June) with an honest reporting of her diagnoses/prognosis. Owner dad was very transparent regarding Kiki's health (which was commendable) back in those early days. But sadly, the situation now seems quite different.

After Kiki had given birth to Chai and Mocha, she was breathing rapidly, similar to Charo in this video. The owner mentioned that the vet had said this was not unusual shortly after giving birth.

​@@lyarrastark6254 Yes but we know Kiki was about 14 months old when she had her first litter. Although that is 4 months less than responsible breeders guidelines advise, it is about 5 months older than Charo would have been, if this was filmed in June. That fact, combined with the family history of cardiac disease (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy), and Coco's and Kiki's sudden premature deaths (Coco's from HCM, and Kiki's most likely from an acute cardiac event, that may have been linked to a third pregnancy and an underlying serious condition) would probably be enough to warrant further investigation - especially if the tachycardia persists after 48 hours post partum.

Poor little Charo - she seems exhausted and breathing very fast. I think it is her breathing and not her heartbeat that we can see - since heartbeat is usually not visual. Please have your Vetrinarian look at her as soon as possible. The baby kittens seem stressed too. Is Charo able to produce milk for them?

​@@lyarrastark6254 I'm guessing she is only about 9 months old, if this was filmed in June. That is half the recommended age that responsible cat breeders guidelines advise, for a first litter. And it's impossible not to notice her extreme lethargy and tachycardia (rapid heartbeat).

Dear Mr. Owner, I just rewatched the video of the birth of these kittens, and I can't tell which kitten was born first, and second, and which one was born last. Could you please clarify? They all look healthy, and Charo seems to be as caring and loving a mother as we've come to expect from her. 😻🐈🐈🐈🤗💕 As long as we don't know the names and genders, I will call the babies Chai 2, Pucca 2, and Toppo 2. 💝💝💝 Pucca, lying in the box and watching Charo and her babies intently, reminds me so much of sweet Nico. ✨😍🥰🤗
