I met a man with two young children outside the supermarket this afternoon. I had just left and was about to put my trolley back from where I got it from. He came up and put his young daughter into it. She had thin hair and guessed she was undergoing cancer treatment. He told me the treatment she was having. He also told me his wife was in hospital due to have surgery to relieve a compressed nerve in her neck. The child's name is Maria. I commented on what a beautiful name it is because of our Blessed Mother. The father told me that Maria loves Our Lady and that the hospital chaplain had given her some rosary beads. They go to my church. I asked if I could pray over him. Sadly, I had left my relics, rosary that had been touched to several holy relics on my recent pilgrimage to Italy and Medjugorje. When I got home, I took my relics out and prayed again for them. Please pray for this beautiful family.

I find it so hard to trust that God's will is best when faced with serious health challenges...Jesus did tell us to pray and ask for what we want/need, and still knowing that God's will for us will be what is best for us, from His point of view!
