It impacts every single bit of your life, doesn't it? People think of it as a bit of a itch somewhere, as that's usually the closest thing they can relate to in their own experience, or they tell you at length about their 2nd cousin removed who had a stubborn patch behind their knee that wouldn't go away. How is it now? Izzy's on weekly Methotrexate injections now, since this vlog was made. Yes - it's a bit controversial and needs close monitoring with blood tests, and I know conventional medicine isn't everyone's choice, so if that's you, I do apologise! But I'm mentioning it because it's completely changed her life and she is now able to attend main-stream education (college) and is truly loving life. I'm just mentioning that to you in case it's helpful and if you ever have any questions about that and want to ask someone with experience of it, you know who to ask! Thanks for watching.

Do hope the antibiotics worked ... I've had a cold that glued eyes shut, so know the feeling. Freezing rain, a glaze of ice on everything and snow forecast. Everything canceled today. It will get extremely windy and super cold so dealing with the snow and ice will be difficult but the town has a 48 hr rule or fines homeowners. The loft is nice to have. It is amazing the amount of things one can need to store for sometime activities.

The antibiotics worked as usual. She bounced back - and also from subsequent eye problems. It sounds like you must be in the thick of the freezing weather by now - as you wrote that 4 days ago! I shivered just reading your description. (Sorry for the delay in response - I got a bit behind with my comments). Imo x

Hi there. So sorry to hear about Izzy's eyes. I thought I would mention this. My dad used to get eye infection problems when he was working for the Post office at Christmas. It was the glitter dust off the cards causing the problems. I saw some glitter on Izzy's beautiful drawings and thought I would mention it. Give her my best wishes.

sorry to hear about Izzy... I do not know why they make it so hard to get referrals.... or why you even need them, I guess it is just so everyone gets paid. My daughter was bad a couple of times and we had to go to the family doctor to get a referral to a specialist who then sent us to the practitioner that we knew we needed to see in the first place. I just got back in the states from vacation and need to take down all my decorations now also... thanks for sharing.

Your inspiring me to put away my Christmas. I usually wait until Feb 01 and switch them out for good ole pink-red and white valentine stuff. It get's a bit weary having them out still out but the lights not turned on.

Ouch poor Izzy! But she has a great drawing talent. We have special eye hospitals in Australia separate to regular hospitals that have an er/ a&e

Thanks, Pirenet. She's feeling so much better now. It's interesting to hear about the differences between hospitals in the UK and Australia. Have you been affected by the fires? We've been hearing some real horror stories. :¬(

Imo and Izzy Vlogs I live in a Sydney suburb Manly which is by the sea.Sydney is a very spread out city and the fires are about 70 km away in all directions.we have a lot of smoke haze hanging around turning the sky golden.But we are safe and they are predicting lots of rain this week. Send some of Wales rain this way please...
@PlanetImo

That sounds pretty scary. Thanks for the update. I'm so glad to hear that rain is (hopefully) on its way. It's barely stopped here for weeks on end - but hearing what you're going through, I feel a new appreciation for it!

I think the ceiling's too low so the ceilings below would have to be lowered? I don't know how feasible it would be. My parents did that at their house before they eventually moved out of it, though. It made the world of difference.

Poor Izzy! What frame rate were you using? There was a beating in the doctors, suggesting you’re using 30fps rather than 25fps?
@PlanetImo
@PlanetImo 5 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure - it was GoPro so there are only limited frame rate settings. It’s a lower one as my laptop churns and groans if I shoot at 60fps on it. I think it’s 30?
@TheBeggFamily
@TheBeggFamily 5 жыл бұрын
Imo and Izzy Vlogs That would be exactly what I thought. In the UK, I shoot in 25fps normally (HD or 4K), then for slo-mo (2x) I shoot in 50fps. Those with 60Hz mains can use 24fps and 60fpts for greater slo-mo, but in the UK, that beats with electric lights too.
