Have a question How eskrima helps you in real life situations? No kicks, no punches at all. If you aren’t able to find a wooden stick, then you’re gone? Or Eskrima has it’s own bare hand techniques?

eskrima, kali is a complete martial arts system. from sticks to knife fighting, then the dirty boxing we called pangamut or suntukan, then there is the kick fighting or sikaran and lastly the dumog or ground fighting. stick fighting can easily be converted to dirty boxing. what you are seeing though a mere fraction of kali escrima is enough to give you an effective self defense even in your old age. look at kali escrima systems.

Eskrima can also be applied using bare knuckles. A stick or arnis is just a representation of any objects you can use against an enemy. Be it with a pencil or metal tubes. The logic is anything goes. Even your bare hands are also weapons.

The major cheat and unefficiency of this theater is that only the guru tries to finish the oponents and the oponents are very passive ... in general bullshit as aikido
