just for a laugh while i was refurbishing my dyson dc14, i took the motor and put it into my henry pet, it is a direct fit, the original henry motor mount has a hole for the belt drive spindle so it worked perfectly. the only untoward thing i did was turning the motor mount slightly so it did not sit in the bracket in the housing, this pushed the motor down slighty because it is a small amount shorter.
