I call the wood wool "fine wood shavings" for lack of proper name.. Now I know.. I used to use a lot of it in upholstery of antiques... Got it from the better china shops.. they packed in it.. Jen, do you do a gentle wash of the fabric prior to reassembling? I see on 'The Repair Shop' YT channel that the gals restoring stuffed animals and dolls, etc, gently wash the fabrics.
