Because of this video, I’ve decided to fly to fukuoka and take the train to sleep 3 nights in onomichi. Arigatou gozaimasu!

You two make beautiful videos. Every shot is set up so well. Your enthusiasm is infectious. How you describe your feelings about places and the food, I feel like I am there with you. Thank you , you two so much for your hard work. I hope you two also manage to have quality time for your selves . Not just thinking about content. Thank you from an English man living in France . All the best to you. 🙏

I added this city to my itinerary on my first trip to Japan, best decision ever. This felt like a very authentic experience, far from the tourist path. I absolutely loved Onomichi, it was one of the highights of my trip.

I have visited Onomichi in November 2019 and completely fell in love. Until this day, it's my favourite town and the Seto inland sea area, is my favourite part of Japan. I like how traditional it feels but there is a lot of young people who moved there (because they also fell in love with it) and so there is tons of trendy shops and restaurants. And then there is an easy access to the nearby islands, that are also beautiful. And it's not far from Hiroshima, which I also love. Also exactly as you've said. It feels like being in an anime when you walk around:,) I've been living in Japan for 4 months prior to going to Onomichi but that was the first time I felt like I'm in an anime.

What a beautiful video. I love the gentle vibe, so peaceful, and so informative. We were in Japan back in April (2024) but only spent a couple of days in Hiroshima and a day trip to Miyajima Island (because that's what tourists do!), but I really want to explore the inland sea coastal areas, Onomichi looked amazing. Loved the Ghibli references! And of course I had to re-acquaint myself with Sakamoto Ryōma. Thank you again for a wonderful video.

Such a beautiful video. It reminds me of my first time in Japan six years ago, also during summer time.
"The Seto Inland Sea had a cream soda flavor, where waves danced gently and never to waver. Sunsets painted the sky in hues so divine, a paradise on earth, a moment so fine."🙏🏼🍧
Another lovely video, thank you 🙏 I enjoy trying to understand in Japanese and then reading the subtitles. You both are so funny and I feel like I’m traveling with you 😊
Onomichi is a familiar name for me. I used to be a seaman and the boat I was aboard was at a dyrdock in Onomichi for repair. I also miss the island called Innoshima not far from Onomichi, where I was for the same purpose. People tend to miss those places where they have been before, wondering how they have changed.

Adoro essa atmosfera de verão em animes slice of life.😊 Os sons de cigarras e sinos de vento, das raspadinhas de gelo e os fogos de artifício, tudo parece tão pacato.
Definitely your summer vacation adventure is feels so nostalgic to me and was like in the summer game or some warming anime like NonNonByori., its so calming to watch. Thank you and keep exploring japan please ❤

It feels weird to see this place in a video game before seeing it in a real life video. Seeing the Ropeway @ 1:42, at first, didn't look familiar until they went onto the observation deck.
