Those are some good dogs~ Reminds me of Mr. Hondo, the Akita that comes into work. Everybody is that animal's friend. He's well behaved for the most part, but when he sees new friends he can yank his poor owner all over. I love him and his meat head.

Oh my goodness, this hotel looks lovely and Su-chan and Fujiko are so beautiful! Akita Inu have so much character and they have the cutest and most expressive faces, which is why they're one of my favourite dog breeds.

There is a reason why Japan is like no other country on the planet. Akitas are definitely unique and justifiably the pride of Japan. The samurai residence, the beautiful trees, the magnificent dogs and wonderful food - truly a serene experience like no other! I am Indian but have been an ardent lover of Japan my entire life. Videos like these heal my soul while living in the most overpopulated and dirtiest country on the planet. You tube videos from Japan, South Korea, Austria, the Nordic countries, Switzerland etcetera remind me that there is a beautiful clean world beyond my home country. Thank you for this video and hope to see more!

Compared to Akitas seen in the US, these dogs look like a cross between an Akita and a Shiba Inu. Even the colors are not typical of an "American" Akita. Very pretty dogs, though.

Thank you for your comment! You are right, the Tosa Inu is indeed larger than the Akita. After some research, I found that while the Tosa Inu (Tosa Fighting Dog) originates from Japan, it is not officially registered as a Japanese dog breed by the government due to the introduction of foreign breeds in its lineage💭 Thank you for pointing this out. I will correct the captions☺️🐕

Wow they are well traveled! I could tell they’ve mellowed out. My Shiba Chow chow mix Jack San had a wife Leia Chan(jindo/husky)inseparable from the start, they are both in doggy heaven now. I worked at a sushi bar here in LA where the staff had much appreciation for them, we would go rice planting in Williams CA, the dogs would frolic in the mud and at night we would fill our bellies with sashimi and sake. So easy to say hello to dogs but almost impossible to say goodbye 🥹
