A Beautiful Life

This is video of my best friend, Lincoln. He's been with me, through the good times and bad, for the past ten years, and was diagnosed with GOLPP two weeks ago. GOLPP is a degenerative disease that affects the nerves in the larynx and hind legs.
The options in less severe cases are to manage the environment (minimal exercise, cool temperatures, and meds) or surgery to open the airways in severe cases. Without the operation, the possibility of suffocation is very, very real. After everything he has given to me and my family, I would do anything to spare him that suffering. Of course surgery is expensive. It costs $5320 to ensure Lincoln can breath easy and that his final moments are not him slowly suffocating.
