A Beaver Having its Dinner (March 30, 2024)

I filmed this beaver eating dinner on March 30, 2024. This was filmed in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The beaver was startled by a noise from the sidewalk behind me and fled, but within a minute or so it returned to its branch to f8nish eating.

Beavers are herbivores, and in addition to the leaves, twigs, and cambium that they eat off of trees, they eat a wide variety of grasses, flowers, shrubs, aquatic plants and weeds.
