PC 😂😂😂😂😂 PC SUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS. PC: 0 Great exclusives. Misses out on numerous GOTY winners every year. Windows garage OS Bugs, viruses, crashing. Malware, shovelware, bottlenecking, troubleshooting. No physical games. No first party developers. Horrible online plagued with cheaters hackers and modders. Gimped unoptimized and late 3rd party ports. Garbage / virtually non-existent local multiplayer. Garbage startup times. Loses best graphics, art, animation, etc to consoles first party games yearly. Gigantic, loud, energy consuming towers. Hunched over desk and chair gaming on a small screen. But yeah... Go ahead and name 1 single great pc exclusive. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Vs Consoles: Numerous great exclusive games. First party titles. Physical or digital games. 2nd party exclusives. Optimized games. Exclusive games that win Best Graphics, art, animation every year. Superior online services. Ease of use. Small, quiet, energy conserving. No bugs, viruses, malware, shovelware. Blu-ray Portability. Constant innovation from d-pad, to analog, to motion controls to Dualsense. Easy livingroom / entertainment center integration. Quick resume. If you're gaming on a PC it's because: A. You are a child and your parents control what you play and what you play on. B. You're a foreigner (not from the USA) and hate games based on American or Western culture. C. You are poor and can't afford a luxury item like a console. D. You are on the spectrum and enjoy repetitive point and click games. E. All of the above. 😂😂 Oh, and you want to talk about visuals? Best looking games by year: 2023- Spider-Man 2 (Not on PC), Alan Wake 2. 2022- God of War Ragnorok (not on PC), Horizon Forbidden West (Not on PC), Eldin Ring. 2021- Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart (Not on PC). 2020- The Last of Us Part II ( Not on PC), Dreams (Not on PC). 2019- Death Standing (Not on PC), Control. 2018- God of War (Not on PC), Red Dead Redemption 2 (Not on PC). 2017- Horizon Zero Dawn (Not on PC). 2016- Uncharted 4 (Not on PC). Should I go on? 😂😂😂😂

For anyone wondering, once you've built a gaming pc, it's incredibly easy to just upgrade a part! Let's say you want a new GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), all you have to do is buy a compatible GPU, and then swap it out for the one already in your machine, or add it to the second slot! (That depends on your motherboard) I highly encourage getting in to gaming on a pc as there is so much more options when it comes to gaming! Happy gaming! :)

@@drago4813 definitely build (WAY CHEAPER) but I recommend watching Austin Evans guide. Once you build and rebuild it a few times, you can build it in as little as 15 minutes! If something goes wrong, I recommend calling microcentre. You don't need to go in the store they'll just walk you through how to troubleshoot! I had a bad CPU and 2 bad motherboards, the odds in that happening are 1/1000000 but it can happen. Buy your parts in a store rather than online, trust me!

I don't know if i will get an answer here but here's hoping. Last night I was playing a game and it was running a little slow (fps drops and freezing) for reference I have a 2080super, 16gb of ram and a Intel i7-9700k. So I closed out my game and went looking for a reason as to why the fps drops were happening. First stop.... storage space, I went to my D: drive and deleted some old KZbin recordings/game clips and then moved to my C: drive which is 90% full and I thinks that's bad right? So I deleted the EFT (Live) folder in the battle state games folder and then resarted my computer. When it turned back on everything was going at like 1fps and after about 10 mins just completely shut off. I asked a friend and he thought I deleted a core file, so I restored every file except the EFT one because it was to large to restore. It is now the next morning and still barely working and turning off after 10-15 mins. I don't know what to do besides take it somewhere. Any advice?

I'm a pc and playstation gamer The biggest advantage of console gaming is less power usage. Gaming pcs use a whole lot of electricity compared to console. Some will complain about installing drivers but it's not rocket science nor is it difficult even for a beginner. Download , double click press next a few times and you're done. The majority of the time you don't have to tweak driver settings.

I want to build instead of buying a prebuild but i think im overthinking it... Im unsure exactly what parts to get. When it goes to actually building it i have watched long tutotials and it doesn't look to hard just slotting things in and stuff. What im reallt worried about is getting the right parts and how i know if i get a case that fits the parts and if it wont work and stuff lol.

As someone currently gaming on a dell inspiron laptop (Runs on Vega 8 integrated graphics) I'm excited to evntually build a proper gaming pc. Beyond the initial investment it seems so much more convenient than console gaming. Your library is always there, online communities are a lot more active, buying games to build out your library is a lot cheaper and not charging me to play online is a welcome return coming from console gaming.

I’ve been gaming since 1987. I had just about every console since. But once I made the transition to PC a couple years ago, there’s no comparison. I bought an Xbox Series S just for casual, single player games. Stop struggling to get a “next-gen” console if that’s what you’ve been doing. Spend the extra money and even get a starter PC. The money saved on cheaper games, better performance and not paying service subscriptions for Xbox Live or PSN, it will be worth it in the long run. Treat yourself.

Hey man, I’m a console guy, wanting to build a PC at some point and still learning quite a bit about PCs and such. When it comes to PC, would I have repurchase all the same games on PC in order to play them on my PC?
@ck1319
@ck1319 2 жыл бұрын
@@michaelahrens7725 Unfortunately, yes. However, PC games are usually cheaper, goes on sale way more often or you can even get keys from trusted third party sites. Most console game discs don’t even have the actual game as the disc is just a key. Everything downloads nowadays. It also depends on what you play. I mainly play shooters and FPS. Just about any currently popular BR games for me are free but you’ll find other genres as well. I also sometimes play free, indie games that sometimes will never see the light on console stores. And that’s sad because some of them are great games. But I’m glad to hear you’re doing your research. You’ll be glad when the day comes.

Two questions what platform do you play your games and doesn't your gaming PC come with the graphic card already
@JJFlores197
@JJFlores197 4 ай бұрын
PCs have many different gaming platforms. It isn't like Xbox or PS where you can only buy games through the respective online store or through discs. You have Steam, Rockstar game launcher, epic games, Ubisoft connect and a myriad of other game platforms to buy and download games. If you build your own PC, you buy the parts to assemble it. If you buy a pre-built gaming PC, then its already assembled and has everything you need.

If James Hoffmann had a son who was a gamer, you would be that son. Lol I’m wanting to get into PC, it seems like these days, consoles and PCs have switched up quite a bit. I grew up when consoles were as good as gaming got, nobody had gaming PCs and if they did, the experience was garbage, and it just made more sense to have a console but PCs have come so far and now it seems like most people who are serious about gaming (even as a hobby) have a gaming PC and consoles. It just seems so much more versatile to have a PC. Especially as someone who is wanting to start a gaming channel, it makes way more sense to consolidate everything into a PC and having the ability to make it a more seamless process. And I’m totally sick of the console wars. I haven’t been able to get my hands on a PS5 and I’m not sure if I’m ready to fully switch to Xbox, so it seems like a good time to try out PC. And- free online? Hell yes. PlayStation switching from PSN to PS+ was fucking ridiculous

PC games are distributed through various digital stores like the PS Store. Its just that there isn't just 1 unified store. There are a myriad of stores that sell games. So you have to make accounts with each service that you want games from, purchase your games and then download them.

@JJFlores197

The best thing you can do is to do research. A lot of people try jumping into building PCs knowing nothing about computers and then get very lost and frustrated by watching a lot of videos. To be fair, not many channels do a good job of making an actual beginners videos. A lot the 'beginners' videos make a lot of assumptions and throw around a lot of terminology and not really explain it which is not good. Do some research on what the components of a PC are, like what a CPU is, what a motherboard is, etc. You don't need to be an expert on computers; not many people fully understand how computers work, but it does help to have some general understanding of what the parts are. It is tedious, but well worth it. After that, look at PC builds for your budget/performance needs. For the actual assembly, watch several videos. Everyone has their own way of doing it. There isn't just 1 correct way of building a PC. The overall build process is mostly the same regardless of your parts.

Kinda ambiguous. "best" and "don't want to spend a lot" doesn't help much. You'll need to set a budget first, and then figure out what you can get for that. You likely won't find a decent basic build for less than $650 right now. Figure out your budget and what kind of games you want to play.

I've been looking into PC gaming for the past 5 years and JUST started my build with the help of my partner. I am using my PC for multi media [Streaming and gaming] I have my Windows on a HDD [Hard Disk Drive] while my games and media are on a SSD [Solid state drives] I learn on how to build my PC from my partner, brother and a channel here for LinusTechTips. I have also played my games on a console and normally get those people who are toxic, on PC I have only had one and that was while playing Resident Evil 5 but far as I have seen games look and feel better on PC then that of a console. I am glad to of moved to PC and I wish I did it sooner XD My MOBO, CPU and RAM cost me £500 as I have gotten these parts, MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3800X [3.9GHz], RAM - Kingston FURY Beast 16GB [3200MHz] and PSU - AeroCool Intergrator 850W (80+) I am still looking into GPU but that is still under TBA as I'd like to check views on each GPU
