I am an older student in an art major curriculum retaking biology because... not really sure. Maybe the school thought it might help me mix egg tempura colors. I found this to be very insightful. I'm working on a sci-fi story and one aspect of the story is that some interstellar colonists, usually the first generation of settlers, that had to undergo genetic augmentation in order to properly adapt to the environment of the planet they intend to live on. I've mostly been using the mono cross to figure out the possibility of two augmented parent and the type of offspring they would have, but now I see its a little more complicated than that.
