So helpful for someone that English is not your original language. Because the words is not really difficult to understand. Hope someone see this comment will has a great grade on both their test and homework. 🤗

I am an older student in an art major curriculum retaking biology because... not really sure. Maybe the school thought it might help me mix egg tempura colors. It's been a running firefight to maintain the grade average I need and more of a challenge than I thought I'd have. But I just want to say that quite a few of the cell division, reproduction and genetic topics were so much easier coming from your videos than the McGraw Hill textbook. You've got a real gift for instruction. Owe you big time and thanks.

I found this to be very insightful. I'm working on a sci-fi story and one aspect of the story is that some interstellar colonists, usually the first generation of settlers, that had to undergo genetic augmentation in order to properly adapt to the environment of the planet they intend to live on. I've mostly been using the mono cross to figure out the possibility of two augmented parent and the type of offspring they would have, but now I see its a little more complicated than that.

Wouldnt the square be 1X4 ? Since RrYy can produce 4 different letter pairs ( RY, Ry, rY,ry), and rryy make one possible pair ( ry) ? so would it be geno rate = 1:2:1 and pheno rate 1:2:1? I could be totally wrong....
