At this stage I always take photos of each section closely so I know where stuff goes back and how. Love your videos man ✌️

I've definitely done that before. Especially with stripping down shifters

I think we all forget where we came from in this journey. It needs passed on. We take it for granted that we know some of this stuff!

Thanks for the nice tutorial. The original tires on the 92 trek 7000 are the matrix z-axis, trek own brand at the time. Interestingly the rims are from the same brand. These tioga are nice though!

Those old tires can look good and indeed be fine for light use, but if theyre 10 years old and hardened, they feel different in a bad way above 35-38 mph

first thing I do is pump the tires before I start working on it to check if they hold

Am not a beginner, but the assessment section was a great "how-to" on wobbles where I learned a lot. Even RJ hasn't done one as thorough.

Great Guide and beautiful Bike. I am born in 1972, therefore those machines are from the time I couldn't afford to buy them when they where new. Hope you understand what I mean, poor english😂

Hi my old retro mountain bike has sticking rear brake v caliper on one side - how do I resolve it?
@MonkeyShred Жыл бұрын
First thing to check is the pivot isn’t rusted. Take the arms off. Clean the pivots. Apply grease to pivots. Reinstall arms.
