Most guides that claim to be a "beginner's guide" end up not even explaining WHAT the minigame is. I really appreciate how detailed this guide is, and how you actually explain the basic concept of it and things like where it's physically located.
@khmocha Жыл бұрын
The only KZbin channel that actually does a guide in the shoes of a beginner. I've seen countless guides where people have used their current-BIS to walkthrough a tutorial. Doesn't make any sense when the majority of target audience are BEGINNERS for a reason.

This guide is so amazing. Runescape was my first ever rpg (like most) that I started playing with my friends when I was around 8 or 9. I got back into osrs due to the mobile component but largely never learned how to do more than copying step by step quest guides and afk training skills. Having money in game was always the biggest struggle for me as a kid and having the ability to buy gold through bonds now that I made enough money for it to be negligible made me feel amazing for about a week until I found that the gear I could buy ment nothing since I still didn't really know how to play outside of my normal session of mediumish quests and afk training. Ive felt like I dont know what I'm really doing and this is everything I've ever needed to get into the game thats been locked off to me for so long. Thank you for going back to this stuff and teaching us noobs how to play the game even after 15 years.

It's crazy how simple and easy this minigame is. Like I always avoided it when I made other accounts because it seemed like "scary endgame big boss content OOOO" (that and me either being a F2P kid or only getting a week or two passing interest that burns out), but I watched the video, and I ended up completing a run in sub 4 minutes skipping through the video LMFAO. Two years late to the party but that shows this video still holds up. Thanks!

Thank you so much for this! I'm currently getting into OSRS and after passing total level 1000 I knew I wanted a new fun goal but all the guides I found for bossing were way out of my acheivable element. This helped me set way better goals so I can finally start PvM, cheers!

Thanks so much for this! This is the level of detail I wish all guides had for this game. I'm new (coming back after playing it for like 2 weeks as a dumb kid in like 2006) and I'm finding that most guides for osrs content seem to be catered more as a reminder for older players and a quick overview that isn't quite enough for new players. This is the perfect level of detail that makes me want to go tackle it asap!

this has been a huge help, thx! what i am doing is (61prayer, equipment is what in the video but on the tankier side, 80cmb, iban staff(u)) i start with dharok, cause of the possible ohko, then with the rest of my prayer ahrim, cause i have low magic def. then just tank the rest of the dmg, since food is cheaper than prayer pots. only keeping one prayer pot in case dharok is in the tunnels. then ring of dueling to the enclave, reset stats, bank if needed than barrows tele back. pretty cheap runs this way.

Thanks for the guide but I want to know if I’m doing something wrong. With my gear set up I can get through it with 3 prayer potions, which alone comes to around 40k. I’ve only done a few but I’ve lost money on all of the runs so far. Do you do it knowing most runs you’ll be breaking even/losing a little and waiting for the rare drop which is where all the profits at?
@frickenkiwi2 жыл бұрын
Little late but hopefully this helps. If you have enough defence, try tanking Torag and maybe Verac without using prayers to save on some potions. Save Torag and Veras for last if you expect to try this. Leave the barrow area as soon as you can to avoid accidentally taking an extra prayer drain after the brother is already dead. I use a Ring of Dueling after every run to go to the Ferrox Enclave to get a full recharge on prayer and health before teleporting back to Barrows. Also a nice bank near there. The melee Brothers can be safe spotted in the final area if you get them to show up in any of the diagonal large rooms. The ladder space works, and even if the ladder is not there, the space still cannot be passed through. Also because the prayer drain is static, a higher Prayer level will very much help you last longer between potions. Try bringing a Holy Wrench if you have access to that for a little bit extra out of each sip. Its got a lot of requirements, but the Hard Morytania diary will give you 50% more runes which helps profit out.
@wildcardgambler2 жыл бұрын
Pro tip: if you can fight one brother without running out of prayer, then you can use a Ring of Dueling to Ferox to restore health and prayer than Barrows tab back. One barrows tab is roughly the same price as one DOSE of prayer potion, so if you’re using more than six doses currently, you will save money using tabs between each brother.
@ryokuhasu9699 Жыл бұрын
Alternatively you can use blood spells with blood bark armor and that will greatly reduce the amount of prayer potions and food you need as you will heal 32.5% of all the damage you do. This requires a fair amount of effort as you need Desert Treasure 1 and potentially need to do the shades minigame.
