Really useful Andy, thanks for sharing. Certainly plenty to think about. As you know I qualified during lockdown so have only dived quarries so far. With boat dives booked for Swanage in early July and Portland in August I’m keen to get some experience in salt water ASAP. Just want to ensure I have my weight right and I’m used to swell and current so I’m not the guy on the boat faffing when the time comes. I have bought the book you show in the clip and thinking I might start with Babbacombe or Swanage Pier in the next few weeks. Will definitely make contact with the local dive shops/clubs to get some advice about tides, weather and other useful information so we don’t make the two hour drive only to find it too rough or the vis no good. Cheers for putting the time into making the clip!

Nice one Dave, we’ve dived swanage and my advice would be to take your time to explore it with a camera if you can there’s loads to miss if you’re not looking for it. I bet there’s been a boost in sales of that book this weekend 😁
