Hey, new here looking to start an army. Is it a common practice to write a units point value on the bottom of the base?

To have the different weapon options, do the models you build have to be actually carrying them. Ie. If I built a model with a sword in his hand does this still mean he can use still a storm bolter or do I have to use a model with a storm bolter in hand. Thanks.

okay but if i have an letz say a hover ork killa entirely made from scrap stuff how do i count his point? where can i find something that talk about his movement his point and what ork gear i have to assign each dakka on him?

Define ARMY as a whole... when trying to battle forge..... is it per detachment? How does that work with chaos legion traits?
