For me that rate will depend the job. My experience, do I want the job? , the customer, how hard the job is ... do I need to walk up 8 flights of stairs with drywall or do you have a service elevator and other factors like how long have I known them and are they a referral. If I have known my customer since I started and they are fair. I’ll give them an awesome rate and job. If they are new they get awesome work and a fair rate based upon the factors listed above. Another factor is will they work with my schedule or is this a take the job now deal or I’ll find someone else. As you can see my equation for pricing is complicated. :/ most of the time I do amazing work for a decent or cheap price. I keep my overhead low and I don’t drive a fancy truck.

Yeah, these are going to be hot sellers in 20 years. With even the final generation of the air cooled 911 turbo being worth as much as they are now, adding a pretty legendary aftermarket tuner kit is only going to make the collector value more out of control.
@pchwang6 жыл бұрын
+Mazokki the difference is that a lot of these cars are naturally going to the dump anyway and those well preserved originals will go up in value. The real effect that the RWB kits are having on the original cars is that they are making the process happen faster. Which, honestly, I can't imagine is a bad thing if you're hanging on to one of these cars as an investment.
@Linken2006 жыл бұрын
If any of you think a car gets more collectable or valuable from putting a over hyped "tuner kit" on it you've never seen a real car auction or really looked at what modified cars sell for compared to original ones. These will most likely be looked back on like we do now at a Koenig Ferrari or Mercedes from the 80's, but those were actually built properly. Still no one cares for them now compared to a original car
@pchwang6 жыл бұрын
+Linken200 I think you're looking at this wrong, but you have a point. How RWB is viewed in the future all depends on what happens to RWB when Nakai-san chooses to retire. If the company persists and just hires someone else to continue the mods, yes, RWB becomes Liberty Walk. But as things stand, I imagine RWB air cooled Porsches will be our generation's Yenko Camaros, not glorified tuner kits anybody can do.

Wow!! He’s cutting a fender to fit a pre made wide body kit and slightly modifying it. Ooh! Spectacular, hot glue to hold mesh in the fender such phenomenal build quality. He’s a great artist and can make cars look cool. It’s nothing special to me, it’s a fad and he’s destroying a lot of Porsche’s. Hence, why it’s 30k for his labor for 3 days the rest is on you. I know ppl are gonna bash me but I don’t get it. He’s a racer he’s a great talent but I don’t see anything but a slightly modified wide body Porsche quickly slapped together to look amazing!

Cutting and not painting over the raw metal....No fender lining...real craftsmanship....

yeah i read lots of comments about that seems like nakai-san is running an apple style company, as in, it needs to look good from the outside, never take the car apart or put it on a lift............

catch the can of duplicolor blasting random shit black so you can't see it behind the bumper too? Maybe every bodyline caulked in as well?

when he was talking about the caulking i was kinda butthurt because i felt that they should have brought Nakai ovwr to redo the seams but i really starteed respecting this guy when he said that they replicated them as close to origional as possible, just a super cool detail to add. (completely useless comment but I just figured I'd put that out there)!

That's a year salary for me but God damn do I want one done, Porsche models by themselves are amazing as a drivers car but with his style in it, it's taken to just that next level!!!!! 👌
