Mashallah I promised myself to stop “all” forms of lying 🤥 it was not easy and specially when I had set the tradition of jokes built with lies. I became less favourable amongst my crowd more serious and felt the disconnect from my usual crowd. O ibadi what will you do and give up to bring yourself closer to Allah. The crowd became distant from me in an instant due to my seriousness but I got closer to Allah. I put my trust on Allah to suffer the consequences but to please Allah and make my dunya & aakhirah a success! So what happened, Allah brought the crowd back to me and they accepted the new me, and as they spent more time with me I can see the change in their behaviour as well. Alhamdolillah and may Allah bless Sheikh & brother Omar to influence others with these lectures, kurbahs and speeches so righteous changes can make our lives and aakhirah more successful. Also note not speaking ill of others does not mean you agree with others. Don’t try to justify anything to anyone and put your trust in Allah. Allah will take care of everyone for you 👊🏼🤲🙏🤗

Start small one good habit at a time. Know the saying Rome was not built in a day! Set a timeframe to implement that action so it becomes part of your daily life only than move on to your next goal. & when you are not focused on justifying things to others & others can see they are not having any effect to divert you emotionally, spiritually, physically, mentally than over time they will either join you or 🏃 away. What are you waiting for your circumstances to change for the better. no one is going to do this for you

Assalamualaikum. We live in joint family almost 10 members. It's been 4yrs of marriage. Before few months myself and my sister in law had huge fight. She used so bad words on me. After that I told my husband I can't live here. I want separate home or atleast separate kitchen. Earlier my husband accepted to go separately but now he doesn't want to. So I had huge fight with my husband and we both are not talking since last 3 days. He saying for my happiness he can't destroy his family happiness. I cried alot and finally I took this decision that I will separately cook for myself and my kid. Not even husband and others. I won't go to my mom house it's my weakness. I will stay here and cook separately for me not for others. Is this decision right?

@@au8363 First, thank you for your concern for my spiritual well being. I actually really do think you mean well. But, here is the thing. God Almighty always told us he was "one." Straight from the beginning. HE is not needing of a wife or a son. HE is our Creator, Protector, Nourisher, Sustainer. HE is the Most Wise, the All Knowing. HE knows best. God Almighty knows what we do not. So, I have to ask: Why would God Almighty, as our Lord and Sovereign, tell us he is one and then change his mind? He is perfect and on his Attributes I believe we would agree. Because we both consider our Creator as our Lord. The only one that is worthy of worship. I love Isa (Jesus) - may the peace of God Almighty be upon him, as I do all other Prophets and Messengers of our Great Creator that I have been able to learn about. May the peace of God Almighty be upon all of them too as well as the Prophets and Messengers I do not even know existed. It was only through my studies of Christianity earlier in my life that I knew Monotheism or the religion of Ibrahim is the right path. The path of goodness and obedience is on the religion of Ibrahim, Monotheism. I pray our Creator will help us all to have as close to perfect faith as we can have and lead us all to the right path, Ameen.

I recently watched a video where some brothers claimed that a man is allowed to lie and cheat on his wife when it comes to marrying a second wife. Alhamdulillah that dr omar suleiman proves the opposite, this is the real Islam. May Allah guide the people who talk for their own sake and without knowledge.

SubhaanAllah! I am amazed that Allah teaches us such high standards of etiquette and mannerisms, I've always despised people who took jokes overboard and who were extremely careless about commitments. These are the definitions of a high class of people and what better class could anyone belong to than the Class of Allah and His prophet. It is lowly to be harsh to ones spouse, its such a LOW class habit to start a fight between two people. Allah teaches us to be high quality people Alhamdulillah I am so happy to be a muslim, Allah give me death on the faith and make us all from the People of Jannah. Aameen Thumameen.

Walekumassalam. My question to your husband would be, how does your happiness destroy your in laws happiness? What is your value as a wife if your happiness is not important to him. "Husband and wife are garments of one another", Allah says. If he is a good muslim, he will surely consider your feelings. Before that you ensure if you are considering his feelings and respecting his rights. Your in laws don't have a right over you. They must respect you and make you feel at home if you are to stay with them and you must do the same. If they don't, then you must talk to your husband about this. And please have self respect. When one doesn't fight for themselves, people take that as a weakness and keep going one step further in continuously walking over them. Isolating yourself will hurt you further, it is no solution. Solution is to communicate very specifically about what you are willing to compromise and what you can't tolerate.

He needs to respect your feelings. You come first. He’s married to you not his family. He shouldn’t have married if his intention was to put his family before you. Talk to him nicely and let him know what Islam says about marriage and importance of acknowledging your spouse before your parents/siblings.

Shaikh..what if a person is certain.of being a believer and prays n does everything.. but he finds toxic people he cant avoid, who ask questions with intention of harming him in various ways. Is he allowed to lie to deceive the people who intend him harm? Like spoiling his career or backbiting hin or envying him and doing magic on him? In such circumstances can a mumin lie occasionally just to protect himself? Knowing its wrong, not liking it, but forced towards using it for self protection? Is it permissible. Can it be considered as the HARB mentioned in the hadith or spiritual warfare against evil deceitful liar and envious people who are plotting ur failure?

My sibling is very conscious of these factors. However, she came under pressure due to many domestic issues and lied to the insurance company that she was driving the car at the time of the accident. She had been posting insurance for the last 10 years. The car is a write off. She is in no position to get another car. Now she afraid that if she goes and tells them the truth she may be blacklisted etc. Is her tawbah enough

Thanks, I wouldn't have known about Nuayman Ibn Amr ra. He seems like an interesting character and knew where the lines were drawn as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) didn't get mad or angry at him, but the prophet (pbuh) laughed at his tricks instead? We probably need a scholar to explain his tricks and how come it is permissible since it does deviate from the truth (in my opinion). Allah knows best.
