I have the same question. Like if i lied to someone and they don't know, and i feel bad about lying to them. Should I confess that i lied? Or should i just stop lying and start being truthful with that person?. And repent to allah.

What happens to those who didn't tell lies, but know of the lies and never told the truth? For example I lied to my mum about her cat was hit by a truck and died, but my sister knows the truth, the cat died because it was poisonedby me. And my sister never told my mum the truth. This is just an example 😅 but what would happen to my sister since she knows the truth and never rectify the issue?

I have to disagree with those charateristics. I am married to a compulsive liar. And being the youngest of 9.i can honestly say hw much i cant stand liars n hypocrits n these r 2charateristics i will not tek to the grave with me unless i said sumthing n then rembered i will stand rectified, spologise n own my mistake. I always catch out the liar bcos wen i question there answers i pik up contradictions. The only thing i av in my defense is swearing on Oath or by the almighty 4support but unfortun8ly wen i grew up with a family who gave up on me as a kid then forced me 2 marry in2 circumstances where lying is the only way to survive u realise that u swear on oath telling the truth n they swear on it telling the lie so who do u blieve.. i grew up being lied to all my life. That's not true. I am disagreed with my dear respected shikh. A person is lying by saying he or she can touch quran and says the other person is lying.what about if the person can proof it by not just touching but also have every evidence? If someone says you are lying but you refuse,someone says touch the quran and say you are not lying then you refuse. What does it mean? Christian Arabs call God Allah. Read the Arabic Bible translated by Arabic Christian scholars and it reads Allah. Find your favorite Bible verse that has the term God in it, translate it and it will read Allah.
