This shit is magic. Its my favorite foundation of all time, and I've tried many. I ❤❤❤ it. I have dry skin, am 40 yo. It lasts incredibly well. I frequently wear it for 12+ hours in triple digit temps and long, very sweaty workouts, and messy greasy meals. (I do use primer and setting spray, but I do so with any foundation and they don't last as well.) It's amazing and beautiful.

Thank you for the reminder that regardless texture shows…I am getting ready for my wedding next year and at 53 I was struggling to find a foundation that gave me what I thought I “should” see. It’s a fantasy, real people have pores and texture and wrinkles. Hope you feel better ASAP💛🙏🏻

I'm glad you mentioned that you trim your nose hairs, too. I was feeling bad about having to do it. Maybe it is just more noticeable for us, because our noses are upturned. I also have a fever, which is like...for July, is weird...

Great review Mallory!! I keep coming back to this foundation because it’s a great match for me and it never irritates my skin. Also I don’t even need to set it with powder because it dries down satin on me. I do agree that it clings to dry patches at times but I also have dry skin so that just happens with most of the foundations. It’s not my HG though, I feel like MUFE HD Skin foundation sits much better on my skin.

I don’t think it’s too dark, but then again the studio lights may be affecting the final result. I think in the summer this color will be fine! Gotta tell you Mallory, I’ve been loving the Mac foundations without sunscreen. I have the new “pen” and the nourishing pro long wear, and the face and body in C2 and C3. I think Mac is getting rid of the nourishing prolongwear ( why oh why) so I stocked up in several colors. I love Mac!

Looks Beautiful on you! I went through a bottle of shade Deauville and it does oxidize a little on me. I have combo skin and wear benefit poreless primer in oily areas. I’m in my 40’s and looks great on fine lines, not any settling. I do use a setting powder in oily areas.

Cause it doesn't hold up to heat. It is summer here and when I sweat it dissolves off. For me this would be beautiful in winter. I needs the help of a primer, powder & setting spray for me. That's a lot of extra products to support an expensive foundation.

I have dry-ish skin (I don't even know what that means lol) and this is my go-to foundation even though the pump no longer works anymore lol. As well as the tarte hydroflex serum foundation (or whatever it's called) which I think got discontinued, so I went for another one that seemed similar.... The Dior one and I donno why it says it's got less fragrance when I had to take the stuff off my face after 10 mins to avoid a headache. I know you said you could smell it still even reformulated, but I wouldnt have minded it too much otherwise even if it did cling to dry spots. It went back to Sephora the next day lol

I’m like undertone blind but in case it helps you get in the general vicinity-the shade “130 Light Warm” is perfection on me. I think you’d really like it. At the time I discovered it, I’d chosen to try the Gucci Luminous Matte & new Laura Mercier foundation. Both failed me so I tried the Haus Labs Triclone and nothing has compared. This NARS foundation is the only other one that’s been on my radar to try so it’s great to see your video! I appreciate you sharing how it applied and wore with us!

Hi Mallory! Love all your videos, I've tried this foundation before. And I loved how it looked for the first few hours but then struggled with having it kind of "slide" off my face (I also have very dry, acne prone skin and I even set it with a powder). I've been on the hunt for a new foundation and just have been struggling so much to find one I love that lasts all day but has good coverage without looking cakey. I've recently been going between Lancôme te and Charlotte tilbury airbrush long wear foundation... I'd love to hear if you have any thoughts?

I have a recommendation but it's an old one so you may have tried it. I recently tried Estee lauder double wear and loved it IF I apply with a sponge and work in small sections. I never tried it because I assumed it was super matte cakey and only for oily skin not for my super dry skin. But I saw a video of someone with dry skin who loved it and it was half off at ulta so I tried it. I swear it lasts all day if applied like I said and I don't need a primer. Just a little elf.halo glow powder cause I love a little glow and it lasts all day. I also love it cosmetics cc cream but it needs a good setting spray to last more than 8 hours

I remember the rubber bands on my braces. What I really remember is going in and having them tighten the braces a quarter turn and every nerve in my body jumped to attention......lol. I was laughing to myself when you said you were down to one rubber band...hah. I just started using WTF by Bobbi Brown. It's a bit tacky, nice, but tacky. I know less is more so I only use a dot of the foundation but it still seems a bit sticky to me. I'm going to give Nars a try, it looks great on your skin. Feel better !

This is one of my favorites for my dry skin ! Unfortunately it oxidized in the bottle in a couple of months :( the nars primer in the slim pink tube is my favorite …. Only problem is the sunscreen in it breaks me out …. But it makes the foundation look perfect so , worth it (?) !! 😂
