My trd off road came with a chrome Toyota badge on the grill. Only chrome on the vehicle. Removed it and painted it black. Looks much better

Hey rob, iv been in the collision repair industry for almost 20 years. The issue with the hood struts is highly related to collision conditions. They cause the hood to react differently than designed.

Never install any mod that you’re not comfortable with. I personally am not concerned 👍
