The down side to pedal commander is that if it fails than it puts your car in limp mode and leaves you stranded until you clear your fault codes that was caused by pedal commander

I like the TRD exhaust on my 17’ TRD Pro. But I don’t like obnoxious loud exhaust systems. I don’t think it has any performance gains. The intake is a waste of money however.

I gotta tell ya, I had the exact same staining issue on my front driver's seat - at '24 basic OR, same seats as you. It drove me crazy! After 3 months with the vehicle I bought and installed seat covers. Now at least, I don't have to see the stains! No idea what they are 🤷

I don't get that stubby tail pipe delete. If you're concerned about weight, I'd ditch that huge flippin OEM muffler. I went with MagnaFlow's spec series muffler and the baffle chamber only with flanges on both ends. Then, we configured rest! I dropped in a K&N filter and got an additional HP. Especially at the low end. The dual exits hang down about an inch. A must-have for me is a security tonneau cover. I also like to ceramic coat my vehicles. Plus, on this vehicle, I nixed the worthless splash guards for RokBlokz. If I knew how crappie the paint job was, I would have PFF wrapped the vehicle totally. Finally, if I leveled the truck with a 1 1/2 spacer. I would have added top hat stiffeners.....

I dont eat full blown meals in my Taco but on occasion a small snack and even as careful as I am its a guarantee that some small pieces will find its way to my seat. And make a spot or 2z ughh so frustrating

Pedal commander is junk. Get an OTT tune and get way more benefits.

A proper tuner can remap your throttle tables and devises like this irrelevant. I remapped the throttle table in a jeep i had and it was indistinguishable from a traditional throttle cable. But these work for those on a budget and even i ran something like this, a sprint booster.

Yes I agree. I liked the cloth seats in my 2014 a lot better. I've had water get on my seat and it left a stain. I've accidentally had a passenger get ranch on my back seat. I've tried upholstery cleaner and that even left some spots. The little cloth flap that tucks in under that little plastic piece of plastic on the outside back of the front seats is also a head scratcher. They could fix that better. Quality and durability are very questionable especially considering the prices now.

Hay Rob I have the same seats in my Tacoma and I went to amazon and bought a seat cover just for the bottom part of the seat. Work good for me. I was afraid I was going to get the seat dirty too

to hear the turbo easier on normal tacos without the snorkel is to put it in S mode on the transmission shifter put it to 8th gear and floor it. its soooo loud and sounds so good. try it

I have the premium pkg with Toyota “leather”, no staining. With my 2 previous tacos with cloth seats I applied seat covers. Light fabric seats always end up with stains.

Get Katzkin leather, but let Katzskin know you intend to put 1/2" memory foam on top of the existing padding in the seat and lower back area. The installer can put that in. It makes a huge difference.

Hate to see you using that product with that stiff brush. I never use any cleaners that will leave a residue in the upholstery or brushes that will weaken the fabric. Clean soft white towel with a non residue cleaner is what I use. If it foams it's a magnet for new dirt later.

I had a Jeep Liberty with seats that would get stain marks when they got wet. It caused kind of a white-ish stain like the ones you had. I hope these aren’t like that. I mitigated it by using a damp cloth to wipe the whole seat, and that helped but didn’t solve it.

Interesting you did a video on the seats today. I was at the Toyota dealer this afternoon complaining about the seats in my new Tacoma TRD Sport (3 weeks old). I have the same manual seats as you and I find the driver seat to be hard as a rock and just completely uncomfortable. It's my only gripe about the truck. My dealer told me to come out and look at some of the other models. He gave me a loaner to try out for the next day or two. This model has power seats and so far they seem to make a difference. They allow me to tilt the front of the seat and that seems to make a difference. Not sure what I am going to do at this point. As for your issue, I would stain block the seats if you haven't already.
