I have a 2007 Kia rondo with 135,000 miles. I bout it brand new. I never intend to sell it. I call it my clasic kia. I have 2018 Tacom with 35,000 miles, I never intend to part with it eather. I bought a 2023 Royal Enfield Super meteor and we will see how long I have it.

What about the Tacoma off road 2024?

Had a 2003 Truck that I Loved! Now have a 2024 TRD model 4th gen. I miss the handle on the driver's side as you get in with a step side. I'm only 5'1"! Having issues with auto brakes in eco mode- I am stopping that. Not needed and seems to put more stress on the starter too.

Great Idea if you are accustomed to having your phone out of your pocket and loose in the vehicle. For me, personally, my phone stays in my pocket at all times while I am driving. It is connected to my head unit via Bluetooth. If I had it loose in the vehicle, my pea brain would forget it was there, and I would exit the vehicle without it.

It definitely is more responsive and has more power. I moved the button to the shifter.... its awesome. I have the trd pro shifter and it has two buttons on it. One doesn't do anything and the left one is for the ect. Meso custom special

Agree. I have owned 3rd gen and now have a fourth gen. Panel gaps are tighter on the fourth gen . Except for the tailgate . Still the same gap size as the 3 rd gen. Definitely not worse.

The most important considerations for most people when buying cars are price and reliability. You admit Toyotas prices are very high, and you can't deny the recall problems they are having now. So, they are failing right now in the most important considerations.

Problems with the transmissions?

Agree with everything you say, Rob. Hood probably bounces a bit because it’s big and made of aluminum. As for pricing , fairly steep up here in Canada as well but I don’t feel it is outrageous. One complaint is lots of orange peel that is fairly noticeable in my Underground paint. My bad- didn’t really notice it until about a week after ownership. Still love the truck. A couple of minor issues that you have done videos on. Biggest issue for me is my VIN is on the transmission TSB. No problems so far. I do not like the “wait until it breaks” senerio but it is what it is!😅

The internet 🛜 s full of “negative Nellies”. What’s worse is that it also lends itself for people to promote their own agendas by tearing down competitors products or people who disagree with their views. If I owned a Nissan, Ford or Chevy dealership or worked in their factories, I would probably bash Toyota also in order to promote my brand. The same is also true in reverse, you would praise your own brands. I take the all comments with a grain of salt. My recommendation to people is to see and read about t all, try to read between the lines with objectivity, and make the best purchasing decision you can with that information.

If you can't tell the difference in quality of materials, fit and finish, and overall value vs. price comparison with regards to the current generation against previous gens...then you are a sucker and will never understand

My 2008 TDR sport still runs and looks good. Toyta replaced the the frame brake lines springs 5 year ago at no cost to me. I would buy a new one if needed.

Maybe try the clutch accumulator delete mod cause it seems like that fixed the problem for everyone.

I agree on everything you say. I had the 3rd generation before and my 24 is as good as my 21 was if not better...just love it ! Toyota have a great reputation and that piss some people off..!

I was looking at buying a 2024 Colorado Z71 but decided on the 24 Tacoma TRD sport 4x4 instead.. Ive always primarily been a toyota guy so Im sticking with them. The New Colorados are sharp though!

The 1989 Dodge Dakota, with its 4.0 V-6 couldn't get out of its own way for sure. Has to be the worst Pickup I ever bought.
