As much as I love the Eeveelutions as I do collect them, I'm possibly more hyped that all the missing trainers from Scarlet/Violet get at least full art cards for my trainer binder. I love going through this binder as all cards play on my gaming experience which I love.

When I saw first that Palafin art, I thought it looked like something that Hirohiko Araki would draw, was not surprised when I heard it was Tetsuo Hara! Fist of the North Star was a pretty big influence for Araki initially. Hara knocked it out of the park, I absolutely love the color work and the dynamism, Palafin was a perfect choice for him! 🤩

There will be one big difference between Prismatic Evolution and Evolving Skies: Pull rates. These cards will be easier to pull than their SWSH counterparts. If you were lucky, booster box of evolving skies got you an alternate art. In an ETB of Prismatic Evolution, you'll *likely* get an SIR, with a pretty good chance at an eeveelution. I'd be shocked if we eventually end up with a $1000 tera moonbreon.

I think it'll be similar to the difference between Evolving Skies and Japanese 151. Both have extremely high set value but Evolving Skies has bigger chase cards. I'm expecting this to be another JP 151 where it'll have insane depth but no $1000 card.

I love that they’re filling gaps with trainers who hadn’t got cards and some pokemon/trainers got sar’s when originally missing out, but my only real critique would be I wish we just got a bit more of that. Overall tho, I love this set and I can’t wait tbh. I do wish someone like Kofu, Lucian, Larry, Raifort, or Shauntal got an sar tho, but that’s just personal opinion and not really a critique

There’s still not an eeveelution in this set that I prefer to the eevee heroes cards, by a long shot really 😬 No hate, just not my thing. I prefer when the artwork is a scene rather than just the Pokémon and a pattern 🤷🏼‍♂️ But I do love that they’ve given texture to the reverse holos - nice for the normal card arts to get some love (as I deffo prefer them to the special arts in this set)
