Hello Darren, great work, I apprecia that. Question. I think it will, but just to be sure: Will this also work in Loiter mode?

Yes, it will work with loiter in INAV. You can use pitch to change the height of the loiter. You would just need to add the loiter switch position in the logic to allow the system to work with loiter.

Just tried it out and it all functions just fine as I hoped and expected in Cruise - and Loiter mode. I changed point 1 and 4 in the curve to -100 and 100 to have some more authority. Thanks again for your brilliant work!.

There is VTOL development happening. At this time, we don’t know if it will be in 7.0. But it’s looking hopeful.

Yes please, please. Let it be on the Inav7. I have already 2 aiplanes waiting for that. the Xiake800 (never manage to fly it with Ardupilot) and HEE WING T-1 RANGER transformed.

Hi Darren can you help.? I am new to inav and edge tx. I am having problems with two models , with both the throttle does not work despite everything apparently working even with satellites. On one the atom Rx swordfish I am getting next to no elevator movement and zero rudder. I appreciate this is not the right place to request help but I am very frustrated as everything appears correct. Any help would be very much appreciated. I have followed your videos and painless 360.

Hi Darren me again, solved the movement issue but still no throttle? Everything seems ok, throttle test in inav works ok. Have tried toggling arm switch several times, no luck.? In your setup video you mention there are several reasons /safety features that stop throttle from working but you don’t say what they are. I don’t want to take the model out without the throttle working. Once again your help would be appreciated. I won’t bother you again!

TBH, that would really need to be asked in the INAV Fixed Wing Group Facebook group or Discord. Settings would need to be checked, which is not plausible on KZbin comments.

You should just need to put the flight controller in to DFU then flash INAV. You could try the ImpulseRC Driver Fixer if it won’t go in to DFU.

@@MrD This not work. This is not my 1st flashing. But I fixed by STM32 programmer to write INAV and now I can flash again by INAV Configurator.

May I suggest you take a look at the VTOL support that will (hopefully) be out with INAV 7? If you have a suitable frame available of course. I have a Jumper Xiake with a F405VTOL FC that I struggled to make it work with Ardupilot but would like to run INAV on it.
