In the current version of iNAV 7.1.2, there is no Threshold Velocity figure. Did they do away with this feature in more recent versions?

@mrd I’ve got a wierd issue with my osd,there is a 0? In the middle of my screen in the goggles,it doesn’t appear in the osd preview and I can’t fiqure out what element it is as all the ones I’ve enabled and set out are accounted for 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫

Maybe they'll make it available in mode 1? Falling that, rather than have to swap the complete gimbals over, can you not just move the spring over and adjust the stick friction/ratchet? I think I remember doing that on a Tx.. maybe my old Taranis

Just setting this up with an Archer Pro (not plus) and with the self check button being available in Ethos now, is there any point of having the last channel 12 self test switch? Also, is there any difference between the self leveling setting on the 3 position and the emergency "oh crap"?

My multirotor is calibrated, the compass works correctly. It turns on and flies well in Acro mode. GPS shows satellites and the direction home. But if I switch to ANGLE mode, all sticks except gas are disabled and the drone just hangs in the air, drifting slightly. Who knows how to fix this, please help. INAV 7.1.

Great video, trying to diagnose a motor screeching noise when powered and throttling up via flight controller brand new motor screeching at low throttle. Tested motor on regular servo tester and runs smoothly and quieter. Any thoughts on this issue? Thanks for the content.

It is a good transmitter. But, there is now an updated version with more features. The X20 R is a better X20, and the X20 RS is a better X20 S. I’m pretty much exclusively using the X20 Pro now. Which I absolutely love.

Can we not program the disarm function with altitude meaning if altitude is more than 2m that means plane is still flying and does not disarm even if we toggle the switch

No need any more. INAV 7 and later gives a 5 second re arm window if you’re still flying.

at the 7:30 mark you mention that the rssi values need to be adjusted, is that true for all access receivers? Is this documented somewhere? I have a rs mini that I am having rssi issues with but for the life of me I cannot figure out why and the plane seems to fly fine. also, are the pins on the R6 adjustable so I can use the physical pwm output for different channels (say like channel 8)?

well, I answered the first question myself in that the RSSI values are listed right on the FrSky downloads page for the receiver firmware: * The suggested ACCESS RSSI is 32 for Critical Alarm and 35 for Low Alarm. Darren (or anyone else) if you know about the pin assignments that would be great!

If you go in to the receiver options (I don’t have a radio to hand. But it’s near where you bind). If you can change the outputs. It will be in there. It should be possible with Archer receivers and newer.

ok great. I succeeded a mission. There is only one thing... at the end of the RTH, it stop and hover. I had to manually land. I can't find where I need to change that setting...

Thanks for this tutorial on HD video. Can you also explain how to configure the different vtx power in INAV? In Betaflight there was that VTX tables and you could set the all the power availables. I cannot find that in INAV. I have HDZERO and in INAV I only have 3 powers availables. In Betaflight I could set one power at 0mw, and 25, 200, and 1000. So far I can only choose PIT, 25 or 200. In fact, I dont think they make any difference at all. I cange them and see absolutly no difference (even though the OSD shows 1, 2 or 3 as for the power)

Thanks for the most useful review (to me) I've seen on this TX unit. I'm not that familiar with all the CADDX architecture and didn't realise the 1080P bottleneck until I saw this video. Those other installation and antenna considerations are likewise important that I hadn't picked up on any other videos. Much appreciated and I hope you get continued support/work from CADDX, you are the right man for it.

I did follow all procedures on tutorial, but unfortunately I just get waiting for gps, I got gps telemetry on my sensors tab but it doesn't show on my yaapu script, I just get the up tab with the rssi, I'm using edge tx too, not sure if that could be the issue

Hi Darren, thx for a great video. I have a question about the “Movement Range of the Roll and Pitch Angle in Stab Mode” settings. What exactly is it an angle of (attitude, servo horn, stick), and how does it affect the Movement range? Is it something like a “Stick Priority” setting? I use a std watt meter, reverse motors and set at 10 amps. Cheap, takes 5 min.

I wonder if the amp reading on a Watt meter is accurate enough- if so it already has the connectors in place and doesn’t need the adapter cable shown here Besides that question many thanks again Darren for a very practical demonstration

It’s not quite accurate enough. You can see in the video. It is pulling slightly more amps when it has warmed up. The multimeter, or a DC clamp meter around the battery positive. Will give the best accuracy.

You possibly could. I know ISDT have big discharges where you can set the current. But I don’t believe they’re as easy to change the current on as just clicking button. I believe you need to use a smart phone app. Plus they do cost twice the price.

you could also use a lipo charger with a charging battery connected for creating the various load amperages. just change the charging amps as you go.
