A Better Way To Graze Cattle?

Is there a better way to graze cattle? I've tried them all: rotational grazing, mob grazing, strip grazing, etc. But I'm wondering if I've stumbled onto a better possibility that allows the cattle to eat more forage with less stress.
Note:
-We do not offer farm tours or accept visitors
-We do not sell from the farm
-We do not ship our farm's products
-We do not sell live animals

Speaking from having farmed in Minnesota in 60/70 s and Alberta in 70/80s, rotational grazing with fixed cross fencing (15-20 acres each) was the most efficient. On a half section with only 230 tillable acres in Alberta, ran a 170 head cattle and 300 head flock sheep in the wooded area. Grain was around 80 acres. Sold the bulk of grain as seed. Typical length in each pasture was 7-10 days. Minnesota was better, longer season, at least 3 and sometimes 4 hay crops a year. Both farms were organic ( which was radical back in the late 60's)

Pete that’s the grazing method I use with my dairy cows- 15-17 head- 2 1/2 to 5 acre paddocks- leave cows on for 3to7days. Been using this method for at least 20 years. Always feel guilty when people talk about mob grazing. But this method is less work and like you say the cows like it better.

Your videos are peaceful, informative and fun, and I think we humans can learn from your cattle that sometimes it's enough just to exist, or just be. We tend to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of just making it through every day that we forget to slow down, take time for ourselves, and just be. Here in the South, there was an old time tradition, where people would sit on their porches and watch the world go by, waving at those they knew and even those they didn't. Our world would be a better place if we all spent time just being, and being friendlier to each other. Thanks for another great video!

Pete, the reason subs react so negatively to 'click bait' is because there is so much of it on 'KZbin" and most of it is deceptive. Most times the title has nothing to do with the content of the video and people feel 'lied' to. I like your channel just the way it is and your chores on the farm are not boring to watch. 'Cow kisses' , wow, it shows how much your animals love you and that you take excellent care of them. Your better way to graze cattle makes sense to me. I think your way is the best. I truly enjoy watching your daily videos. No click bate needed for me. All of this reminds me of my dear departed dairy farmer, Uncle Don. The only thing missing is the smell of the farm, which I miss. 💙

Doc: Hmmm, this creature who comes to let us into more grass when we need it is rather an odd looking one. I'm pretty sure he is not a cow like me. He doesn't smell or taste like a cow. He has no tail, and is missing two legs, but they seem to have been replaced by head scratchers, which comes in really handy I must say. You know, I've decided I actually quite like him...

Glad to hear you all got away for a couple days, I hope the wedding went well. Always a special moment when young folks start off a new life together. Seems like it was a good reminder of how nice the home is versus the world. Reminds us that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Again, much appreciate all the work you do in bringing us a nice slice of peace

If they unsubscribed good riddance. That's probably the main source of salty comments anyway. You're very creative and make excellent high quality videos. All from a small farm. The mud dive was HILARIOUS!! 😂😂
