On the subject of safety features, I have a pretty neat idea that I wouldn't mind some peer review on. Have you ever heard of (or played with) an obscure little toy called Vac-Man? Basically, he was an anthropomorphic bag full of little beads that could move freely at atmospheric pressure, but once you suck all of the air out of him, he becomes hard as a rock. That physical phenomenon is known as Jamming Phase Transition, and it has been applied to create grippers for robots. So what if you made a seat out of that stuff? The driver could get all nice and comfortable, then you use a vacuum pump to hold them snug and secure. If they ever need to get out of the car in a hurry, then an emergency lever could puncture a seal and quickly let all of the air back into the seat.

Thanks for the videos Tim I have to call and order a bunch of parts and I may even talk to you about start using your kits exclusively I know I can save time and money especially when I just have a shop that I try to crank out 25 a yr and that's not easy task to do even if ya have a great and qualified crew and we all know that's hard to,come by where everyone has their job to do and does it!! So I'll be giving you a shout about that, thanks again!!

That is a million times more professional looking than the seatbelt buckle. My race car had the buckle. Never was 100% happy with that configuration.

if the rollbar is bent, is there a guarantee that it’s still be easy to release it? Second If in an accident and the window net latches off, there is a risk of stubing the driver and cause a fatal risk so in my opinion, window net is not a good race car safety equipment safetybelt is already enough as long as it’s tight

Hot Dang those are rather expensive. Like the idea but think I would have to make a couple myself.

135$ is a little high for the small amount of material it is. But all the guess work is already done and the parts are cut flawlessly. So the time saved is almost justified for the cost Not too bad. But I can make this fairly qwik. I bet you could too. So 20$ worth of steel to make 2 or 3 really seems more worth it to just do it yourself and sell a couple to your buddies.
